Soto Senggol Moro Tresno Pak Udin — Restaurant in Central Java

This unique warung / small stall is located in so called pasar senggol (narrow market) behind the fashion store , kind of designated as hidden gems of Tegal. They srbe mainly soto a chicken soup dish with tauco (miso) and this is the specialty in this city as well and considered as heritage dish. I try the chicken version first, it was delicious and thick sauce of chicken broth and miso remained me a lot to Tonkutsu style of ramen. The beef version bit too thin the broth and too much intestines and fat but the sprout is much taste fresh here. The price is ok and the staff except the cashier all is friendly. Just the cashier seated with bad mood and watch tik tok all the time, might be the son of the owner haha. The ambiance quiet nice with slow live music...

Sengaja mampir kesini pas otw ke GUCI karena penasaran sama Sauto nya ( Soto khas Tegal, Soto yg pake tauco )Terus terang belum pernah nyoba sebelum nya. Rasa nya sih ok cukup enak, Tapi kalo di bandingin sama tauco Cianjur mah tetep tauco Cianjur lah JUARRA nya..( untuk rasa tauco nya yaaaa...) pilihan soto nya Juga beragam. Bisa Soto ayam, daging, babat or Mau campur juga boleh tergantung selera. Untuk harga honestly agak sedikit terlalu mahal yaaa untuk kuliner di daerah sini loooh. Masih terjangkau siih tp agak sedikit terlalu pricey. Oh Iya apapun makanan nya kalo lagi di tegal minum nya paling mantap minum es teh Tong...

kayaknya hrs mikir seribu kali klo kesini....krn pengalaman sya bngkus sto sm sop tp yg sto ayamnya ga ad...pdhl sblmnya sdh tnya ke pedagangnya ini ada ayamnya ga krn tak lht ga ad,katanya ad tp stelah smpe rmh ksel trnyta ga ada ayamnya! mslhnya rmh sya jauh. lgsng deh sya balikin tuh dan uang ga sya ambl anggap aja amal. tiap kesitu jg ibu2 tua yg punya orgnya ga rmah sm pembeli. kyknya mgkn sok krna sdh laris. percuma bgt pkknya...tegal makanan byk yg jual sto jg byk ga cm dst. dr...
