This is a temple dedicated to an important deity within the sino-pantheon, established by the chinese immigrants, possible in the year 1760. Construction of this temple was initiated by the chinese captain of Tegal, Souw Pek Gwan. The temple is strategically located near the chinese camps (now called the “pecinan”).
