Teras Bali — Restaurant in Central Java

It's Ramadan, a time for festive dinners after breaking the fast. While I don't personally observe Ramadan, I appreciate the vibrant atmosphere in Pekalangan where the mosque, church, and Hindu temple stand side-by-side. Knowing some restaurants adjust their hours, I opted for a late lunch at Bali Teras.

Parking was easy, and upon arrival, we were told we could be seated. They placed us upstairs, which offered a beautiful setting. Even the tables downstairs looked inviting. However, while ordering, we were informed we couldn't be served until after the fast-breaking time, which meant a long wait with rumbling stomachs.

Confused, I questioned the waiter about being seated but unable to order food, especially since staff was clearly present. Unfortunately, the waiter was firm – waiting until fast-breaking was the only option.

While I respect their Ramadan practices, this policy came as a surprise, especially at a Balinese restaurant. Disappointed, we left without trying the food. So, while the atmosphere gets a thumbs up, the service during our visit was a...

I ordered Nasi kabuli and Already finished many items from the menu when we arrive at 8.00 pm for dinner.

They serve desert first and then the main course. I ordered ice cream and food ..they bring ice cream first and after then bring the food.

Don't order daging kambing bakar.they give only one small piece of daging and other piece of fats and half cooked at very high price. Not worth.

Lots of mosquitoes while eating in the restaurant. So please keep shaking your hands while eating or the mosquitoes will sit on your food and eat with you.

Disappointed.

Jarang-jarang saya sampai kasih review bintang 1 di suatu tempat makan di gmaps, tapi mnrt sy tempat ini layak buat mendapatkannya. Salah satu tempat makan dengan pelayanan TERBURUK di kota Pekalongan. Hari rabu sore 15 Sept 2021 sy datang bersama keluarga ingin bersantai sore di tempat ini. Kami duduk di rooftop dan pesan 2 es teh tawar, es kelapa muda, dan tempe mendoan. Setelah sekitar 10 menit, pesanan es teh sudah keluar, lalu katanya tempe dan mendoannya lagi diproses. Setelah lewat 20 menit kami kembali tanya ke waiter katanya tempenya masih proses, belum jadi (kondisi RM agak ramai tapi tidak full), es kelapa muda juga belum keluar. Setelah 30 menit lebih kami tanya lagi ke waiter, dan ajaibnya dy bilang kalo es kelapa mudanya kosong.

HELLO INI KENAPA GAK BILANG DARITADI SETELAH KITA NUNGGU 30 MENIT LEBIH!?!!!

Dan hebatnya lagi si waiter cuman senyam senyum tanpa ada bilang maaf atau apa, atau mau minta diganti minuman apa, dan gak lama langsung melipir dan pergi ninggalin meja kami..

LUARR BIASAA TWO THUMBS UP!!!

Kayanya pelayanan di warung kaki lima aja lebih bagus!

Dan itu goreng tempe juga setengah jam lebih gak jadi2, apa kedelainya lagi dipanen dlu? Atau kompornya lagi diservis?? Akhirnya setelah menahan emosi yg hampir sampai ke ubun2, kami cabut ke kasir dan segera bayar orderan yang tidak lengkap ini. Di meja kasir pun sama saja, si kasir tidak minta maaf klo ada orderan kami yg tidak keluar, mungkin sudah dianggap hal yg biasa, atau udah terlalu sering kejadian di tempat ini, sy tidak mau mengetahuinya lebih lanjut.

Jadi cukup pertama dan terakhir sy dateng ke Teras Bali, mohon maaf tidak akan ada yg kedua, apalagi yang ketiga, keempat...
