This is like a city's historical legend and if you long for an old time's bread recipes, this place is where you should go. There is no particular order for queueing; you just smile and waive your hand to one of the staff there in the hope one of them will notice you and take your order. Would be overwhelming for a first timer because they don't put details on the bread's names and all but the staff will be gladly to help you with their original local hospitality. My recommendations would be their pineapple jam filling bread (roti nanas), "roti mocca", and "roti kelapa parut" although they boast their "roti klenten" which...

Toko Roti GO — the OG bakery vibes! This place’s a total classic, old-school setup, even the baking tools look vintage, and I love that vibe. It’s got that nostalgic charm that just hits different.

The bread? SO GOOD. Old-fashioned style but with modern fillings, totally SUPER OBSESSED with the Roti Susu Gula Mentega Legen, it’s next-level delicious! 🧈🍞 The cookies are kinda pricey, but honestly, worth every bite.

The staff’s super sweet too, she even gave me a tester (so cute 😭).
