An old fashioned noodle restaurant, typical Chinese restaurant with the noodle counter at the front of the store, the seats are filled in a rectangular space cooled by fans, and at the back is the kitchen and beverage counter. The resto sells many kinds of noodle soup and dry/fried, mostly with chicken or pork. The restaurant allows customers to order food from other restaurants. They carry the soup base in plastic pails. I have concern about the food grade of the plastic container, and hygiene in overall. But friends said it is common and typical everywhere. So just be a local. And eat. And pray.

The most enjoyable things is the crispy pork lard on top (you can ask for extra crispy pork lard). The broth is nice & flavourful. I tried the recommended dish, Mie Tiong Sim, basically the noodle that has everything: chicken, char siew, wonton. The recommended dish is also the most expensive, Rp. 55,000 a bowl, which is quite expensive for Indonesian standard, but I think it's worth it. Tiong Sim has many branches, so just check the map first.
