Miramar Restaurant is a long-renowned Indonesian restaurant located on the main road nearby the center of Medan, Indonesia. Its main features represent the Indonesian dishes that are popular among the general public, and have its own unique dishes. From 1972 to the present, it has had a reputation of "delicious" for more than half a century. Although it does not indicate that it represents soecially to any local ethnic characteristics, the dishes and tastes are slightly biased towards nasional mixed tastes. According to the knowledge, the origin of this restaurant is in Pematang Siantar City of North Sumatera Province. It has always been the first choice for many foreign and domestic tour groups, and independent tourists who travel to Lake Toba, or passers-by who is long distances traveller. There are many dishes to choose from, such as Chicken rendang, Fried chicken, Fried chicken with green chili sauce, Grilled spicy chicken, Fish head gulai, Lamb curry, Petai prawns with chili sauce, Skewers, Gado-Gado, etc. Diners can also buy a set meal package to eat in the restaurant, or fry a plate of fried rice, instead of filling the table with many dishes. Miramar Restaurant also has set meal packages for newborns' first month celebration or birthday parties, or "Tumpeng" meal packages for ordinary Indonesian society to hold opening banquets or any celebration banquets. Price is a bit higher but still reasonable....

Well. Very pricey. Not worth. Unless you have plenty bucks to spent. The menu serves portion is only for 2-3 people while this place is set for family dinner. Portion is terribly small with unreasonable prices.

For 7 orang costs 800k. We only order 4 small dishes, and ayam bakar

Like sapo tahu for 99k ( plus tax) , while it's portion is only for 2 people, 3 max.

It has always been my favorite restaurant since day 1. The taste has never changed. They keep the standard and taste. They even renovated the facilities. It's a huge recommendation to come with family and friends since the menu is kids-friendly. Although i have a little bit of a concern towards the services provided.
