Seminggu Kopitiam — Restaurant in City of Medan

I am the first customer. They are all working enthusiastic. I order air kacang hijau. The ceramic cup used is perfect. Lupis also beautifully served in plate and decorated. (Before the lupis served, since it is quite early in the morning, i imagine it must be taken out from refrig, with the ugle taste), it comes out contrary to my thought. :)

SURROUNDING I like the surrounding of this cafe, right from parking place. Eventhough parking sometimes is hard to get, but the slot is around the bush and under the tree. Where on earth to find such beautiful location in Medan

UPDATE JULI 2025 : Setelah beberapa bulan tidak datang, kali ini datang, ternyata cafe ini sudah di renovasi. Sektor belakang jadi lebih lebar dan bertambah bagus. Areal sekitar kitchen minuman juga di reno.

Kali ini kami pesan, Mie Becek, mamak mee goreng, bihun goreng telur. Not bad untuk taste. Yang perlu diperbaiki adalah crew agak kurang. Tidak ada yang taking order. Sampai saya harus cari crew. Sudah dapat crew, kasih tahu, diam saja, mungkin bukan bagian taking order, but at least perlu respon dengan bilang sebentar, saya carikan yang taking order atau apa. Meja sebelah nasi lemak nya lama tidak keluar, beritahu satu crew, diam saja tidak di respon buat si customer...

First time visit here. Definitely recommended and will come back again!

We’ve ordered Mie Goreng Mamak (basically Mie Goreng Indonesia) and Mie Tek Tek (Indomie noodle with their own secret spices for the soup)

Both taste good, mie tek tek has the rich flavor and somehow similar but the better version of Warkop Agam Senyum Mie Bangladesh

Mie Goreng Mamak definitely taste better than the Fountain Cafe. Noodle consistency still bouncy and chewy

Lumpia has a shrimp filling on the inside and the mayo is good but somehow it’s too oily, in my opinion..

Eggtart is no doubt, the best one in Medan! 🥹
