Warkop Agem Senyum Ketawa — Restaurant in City of Medan

My first time coming to this restaurant and... best Indomie Bangladesh experience so far! As for the meal, the noodle is perfectly cooked (not too soggy or too raw), the soup is also perfect as in not too liquidy nor too thick, plus the taste is amazing and quite different than other Indomie Bangladesh stalls. The other reason why it deserves 5 stars rating: EXCELLENT SERVICE! I got my meal delivered to my table super quickly, and really love how the worker was so friendly I felt instantly welcomed and at home. They know how to make you feel comfortable and like you've known each other for a long time.

The only thing you need to brace yourself for is the fact that this place can get really crowded fast that it's a bit tricky to find a spot especially at night or during lunch time. In my case, I went there quite late in the afternoon so it was way after lunch and a couple hours before dinner so I got a spot for my friends and I in less than 5 minutes. You don't really have to worry about parking lots though, there are plenty of them if you don't mind...

They offers a unique dining experience, especially with their Mie Bangladesh. We tried both the normal and jumbo sizes. However, the service was quite amusing — the server mistakenly took away the normal portion that had already been served and made us wait until the jumbo portion was ready before returning both to our table. Warkop Senyum Ketawa Agem has a chill, friendly atmosphere that’s perfect for a casual hangout. The staff is welcoming, and the menu offers a nice variety of simple local dishes and drinks.

I tried the Mi Bangla, and while the flavor was decent, the noodles were noticeably undercooked and lacked the softness that makes this dish comforting. It took away from the overall enjoyment of the meal. A bit more attention to cooking time would make a big difference.

Still, it’s a decent place for a budget-friendly bite, and I’d consider coming back to try other menu items. Hoping for...
