Service is shockingly poor. From when you arrive until you leave.
Arrival Security don't greet or direct guests , they need to be part of the experience.
The empty chillers and space (block out the windows) or add some signage to explain what's coming , this is the first impression of your venue.
Omakase We came up and were seated . The hostess gave us a tray with a qr code and said scan for your menu.
We did , and then waited , and waited some more, and then the chef behind the counter saw that we were looking around and called someone to take the order.
The waiter then asked us to wait again while he got our server....
Order We ordered 2 sashimi, edamame , Don burri and cooked salmon dish, a hot ocha and a Negroni.
Tea was fine, negroni would have been better if you were using better quality ice (charging 150k++) with standard ice, not adding value to the perception on your beverage program.
Logically , the edamame and sashimi should be served first. And then the hot dishes.
We received the Don buri and then waited I waited assuming the sashimi would come soon. I decided to eat while it was warm. Then the sashimi came a few minutes after my wife's salmon came.
We finished everything, and the edamame was still not there. I waived down the assistant manager and asked him to cancel the edamame and to order a matcha ice cream. 10 minutes passed, and an edamame arrived at the table. Lol - leading by example clearly. Realised that the ice cream was not ordered , we paid and left.
On the way out, we overheard another table cancelling orders.
Other items. The team seems so disconnected , there are 3 pick-up bells on the omakase counter , meaning there are 3 places to pick up food. As a guest, I get the lovely privilege of surround sound ringing Bells in what should be an awesome venue. The omakase setup is a service heavy operation because it's not opptimized (1 pick-up space is all uou need)
The back of the omakase kitchen is disorganised, and please, if there is one thing I eoukd urge you to do immediately, remove the microwave from view.
There is no background music (other than bells, crushed ice machines, and banging plates) Staff talking to each other across the dining room also tells us that the management standards are not 5 star. But the prices are 5 star prices, your charging guests for high end but service delivery is not match that value.
A strong service leader is needed to fix your operation and compliment what should be an...

I came in without a reservation, just walked in solo.
At first, they offered me a seat at the bar (since I came alone), even though the bar was only about 50% full and there were still around 5 empty tables (not counting the bar area). One staff member actually pointed me to a free table, but another one almost canceled it and said solo diners should sit at the bar. In the end, they let me sit at a regular table.
They only use barcode menus.
I ordered and was told the wait time would be around 15 minutes. But the food came out really slowly, one by one, with big gaps in between. First was the wakame miso soup, then gyoza, and the last was curry udon, which originally came out as chicken katsu curry rice by mistake. It ended up taking nearly 45 minutes after ordering to get all my food. And my soup got cold 😌.
And the place wasn’t even full. By the time I left, only about 30% of the tables were still occupied, and the “reserved” tables were still empty the whole time.
As for the food, it was good, but not the experience.
The gyoza was soft and tasty, not too oily, but the skin came off. Like… how are you supposed to eat gyoza with chopsticks if the wrapper falls apart? The miso wakame soup was a bit oily. The matcha ice dessert was sold out, but the mentioned it when I ordered, I only found out much later. The curry udon? The chicken katsu was actually pretty good, not overloaded with batter, and the chicken itself was a decent size. But the curry sauce? Honestly, not my thing. I’d give it a 4 out of 10. Just didn’t hit the mark.
Overall: Worth it if you’re okay with waiting a long time. But definitely not the place to go if you’re hungry or even slightly hungry. Even the table across from me complained. They were already done eating and still waiting for some of their food to arrive.
Also, if you are into sushi or sashimi, maybe this place is for you as they are known for it. But as I am not into sushi/sashimi, I...
Read more*an update on my review, ordered kitsune udon again today and got served with a disgusting taste of the inari (the tofu in the kitsune udon), didn’t expected the class of yume would be this careless with their food
currently one of the best japanese restaurant in bali 👍🏻 first of all i’m going to give a thumbs up to their service 👍🏻👍🏻 very very good and professional, it suits the place, they give top notch service i sat at their omakase table so i get to see the chefs first hand, they were really nice, they even offered me a free hand roll 😍 sadly i do not eat fish soo i couldn’t take it, but it’s really thoughtful what they did 💯 ordered the kitsune udon here and the portion was quite big surprisingly, loovee the inari 👍🏻 tried their passion fruit milk pudding and it was very delicious too! the only note that i have for the pudding is not the same as what they put in their menu considering the placa, atmosphere and the service, the price is actually reasonable overall its a 10/10 for me, would definitely recommend and come back here ☺️👍🏻
a bit of recommendation from me, hopefully the management sees this, i hope you guys can add more vegetarian/vegan options to the menu, especially vegan/vegetarian sushi, would be really nice ☺️🙏🏻 (currently they have a vegan roll, its sushi with lettuce and corns and other vegetables)
also i read somewhere that someone reviewed bad about the food waiting time, but my food went out really fast, note that i visited before dinner...
