I gave a 3 star rating because I thought it could be improved in the future.
It's probably because I came here when it was recently opened (around 1 week ish after the grand opening), so they're still crowded and haven't found the groove yet I was looking forward to eating the noodles (bakmi sultan) and their egg tart, but they said that they were not ready and could not be ordered. So I ate another thing on the menu : Mala Lu Rou Fan, Golden Chiffon Egg Rice with Pork, Taiwanese Fried Chicken Chop, Signature Ipoh Ice Cendol The Mala Lu Rou Fan tastes just... okay. they're not "incredible" considering the price for the food. But if I could find someone who loves creamy food, and they could opt for this dish.
The Golden Chiffon Egg Rice.. are quite disappointing... The portions are really small, and the presentation is different (vs. the picture on the menu), and the egg doesn't have any flavor. The only good thing from here is the fried rice inside.
The Taiwanese Fried Chicken Chop is the best thing out of what we've ordered here. Although the thing that bothered me was that the spices were not spread evenly. So you'll get pieces that are flavorful, and some are a bit more bland. *I forgot to take a photo of it š¤¦š»āāļø The Ice Cendol tastes great, but for someone who likes sweet food, you should order more sugar.
And, personally, the service is pretty atrocious. We had to wait so long for the small portion of food, and it the foods came at a different time. Plus, the waiters/waitresses are not coordinated well enough. Some of them can't explain the food well, and they incorrectly explained one of the menus we asked for.. The atmosphere is not great / conducive either, because the walk-in manager is standing outside the kitchen and screams pretty loud to inside the kitchen.
But hey, maybe in a few more weeks after the hype has lowered enough, they'll find their groove, with better food, better service, and a better atmosphere. And as a bakmi fan, I'll still look forward to their Bakmi Sultan.
I'll re-review when I...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is my fourth time here, and I think I have experienced enough of their offerings to give objective reviews.
The first dish that I tried was Nasi Ganja (Pork), it was a reminiscence of Nasi Lemak but with pork, and thereās s a green chili sambal on the side that added extra kick. Simply amazing
During the second and third visit I tried their Laksa and char kway teow l. It brought back memories. The taste was authentic and appealing my family members loved it. The dim sum was meaty and succulent. No flaw.
Today i tried their clay pot rice. Sadly the pork clay pot was too big for 1 person, so i opted for beef and mushroom clay pot rice. It came with free sautƩed cabbage. I did not expect much but it turned out to be amazing, greasy but...
