Food taste really really good, the dimsums were still warm when served. There's plenty of choices here, most of them had shrimps and let me tell u, the shrimps were FANTASTIC. It's juicy and feels refreshing, seasoned well. For the food, it's a 9/10 from me. I don't really recommend the noodles tho, they tasted bland, kinda unsalty and overall just meh. My fave food from here is Cheong Fun Udang!! Tasted soooooo good.
BUT!!!!! The service is quite disappointing. I ordered 3 times. We had no problem with the first two orders except the fact that it took 10-30 minutes until our food arrived. Even the drinks took them quite some time,,, idk why. Haka is a big and viral restaurant, if they gonna open for 24 hours i suppose they should trained the servers and cook first. The worst is when i ordered the third time, i only ask for some easy and fast dimsums like Hakau. Somehow they missed my order. After like 30 min, I ask the servers abt my orders and they told me to wait. And so i wait, and wait, and wait... it took them another 30 min to serve my table 😆😆. They also delivered other people's food to our table like 4 times, i can understand if its only 1 time, but FOUR??? smh,,, Haka dimsum management,,, pls PLEASE trained your people better. You already got systems applied for menu, how tf can u ruined it.
At first i wanna give this place a 5, but now i left the place feeling quite annoyed lmao. If you wanted to come here, do it on weekdays and not on rush hour. Hope they can improve the service, bc the food is reallyyyy good. It's a...
Read moreI recently visited the new Haka branch in Depok, which has quickly gained popularity since its opening, evident by the bustling atmosphere despite its limited parking availability.
The dining area is quite spacious, encompassing a two-story building with both indoor and outdoor seating options. True to the style of other branches, the decor is simple and traditional, featuring plastic chairs that create a casual dining experience.
Ordering is straightforward: patrons can scan the QR code provided by the staff and settle their bill at the cashier after dining. The menu mirrors that of other locations, offering a range of dishes from steamed and fried dim sum to various rice and noodle selections.
During our visit, we tried several dishes: Siomay Ayam Udang (IDR 21k) – 4/5 Lumpia Udang Kulit Tahu (IDR 31k) – 5/5 Cakwe Udang Goreng (IDR 22k) – 3/5 Bakmi Sapi Haka (IDR 33k) – 5/5 Ayam kering krispi (IDR 24k) — 5/5
Overall, the flavors were decent, although the prices are slightly higher than at other establishments. I particularly recommend the Bakmi Sapi Haka and the Lumpia Udang Kulit Tahu for their robust and authentic flavors. However, the Cakwe Udang Goreng was a bit on the greasy side.
In summary, Haka offers a satisfying dining experience with some standout dishes, making it a worthy visit for those...
Read moreIt was relatively crowded since they just opened a new branch in Depok. So when I came here during dinner time, there was a waiting list, although the wait time was quite fast, less than 30 minutes.
The layout of the restaurant is the same as the old-style kopitiams in Singapore or Malaysia. The chairs made me anxious, fearing they might break and cause us to fall, unlike the Kemang and Blok M branches, which are cozy. The prices seem to be the same as the other branches, but when I visited, almost everything was out of stock. Not sure if they didn’t restock or what, but they should’ve anticipated the large number of customers.
This restaurant also needs to improve its cleanliness. The sink was dirty, and the toilet was full of tissue trash that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since the morning. The staff should also undergo more training to be...
