Cakalang Baked Rice Idr 29.5K I think here the various choices of rice menus are superior, most of which I ordered are complete and delicious rice menus. A Must-Visit Sundanese Gem in Jabodetabek!

Mang Kabayan truly lives up to its reputation as one of the best Sundanese restaurants in the Jabodetabek area. I ordered two personal liwet packages with different mains—crispy-on-the-outside, juicy-on-the-inside chicken, and perfectly cooked Gurame fish. Both came with fresh lalapan, the iconic sambal dadak, and a delightful side of fried enoki mushrooms.

The chicken was especially memorable—tender, flavorful, and bursting with authentic Nusantara spices. But the real show-stealer for me was the sayur asem—tangy, comforting, and incredibly refreshing. Paired with their signature sambal dadak, every bite felt like a celebration of Sundanese culinary heritage.

The ambiance is wonderfully traditional, complete with serene decor, a gentle mini waterfall, and a calming pond near the dining area. It adds a refreshing and relaxing touch to the whole experience.

Service was top-notch—friendly, responsive, and attentive. Special thanks to Teteh Rusdy Siti, who made our visit even more memorable with her warm hospitality.

Mang Kabayan Cibubur has abundant parking lot that you never have trouble in finding parkir spot. The resto has 2 parts: aircon and non aircon. The restroom and prayer room is also available. The waiter is promptly take our meal order and in 15 minutes all of our order has arrived in our table. The aircon room is quite cozy to have chit and chat with friends. So cozy that I had chat with friends for the whoe 3 hours! The waiter service....I'll give 10 out of 10 scale.......
