Shaburi & Kintan Buffet - Trans Studio Mall Cibubur — Restaurant in Depok

Worst, most unfriendly Shaburi Kintan I have ever dined with, and I have dined at many Kintan restaurants all over Indonesia. Firstly, ALL the employees we encountered were SO impatient and unwelcoming (we came in early at 12pm on a WEDNESDAY and it was NOT crowded AT ALL). They use a QR code scan for menu which you have to scan at the entrance and when I didn't scan it right the first time, the waitress rolled her eyes exasperatedly (so RUDE). We were a group of 5 and started our lunch at 12:15 (which I have video proof with timestamp of), but at 13:10 the same waitress came to us to take our order, when I told her 'in 5 minutes' she said that we have to order NOW because it was already last order (55 minutes dining and already last order??) We called another waiter and he informed us that last order was 70 minutes and insisted that we have already dined for 70 minutes. We didn't make any further complaints, but the experience has prompted me to write this review. Before going to this Kintan I checked its 3.9 rating and put it down to picky customers, but now I can see why this Kintan alone has such a bad rating. In all the other Kintan I have been to, even with the same 90 minutes time, I never felt that we were rushed by the staff. Will never dine here again and...

Decent All You Can Eat restaurant in Cibubur.

Tried their Special Yakiniku since I rarely use shabu in AYCE restaurant.

There are lot of meat option. They even have lamb meat which is not suit for this kind of cooking method.

Unfortunately during my visit there are some meat that really hard to chew, such as rib meat. I even use my bare hand to handle the meat. This is not acceptable in such expensive rate AYCE.

On the other hand, steak meat was very nice. Thick but very tender.

About the sauce, I love their sesame and spicy sesame sauce. Even though it’s not as creamy as my favorite AYCE restaurant in Bogor, but still lovely.

Grill medium easily burnt. But you can request for change to waiter.

Side dish taste was so-so. And I rarely eat side dish in such AYCE restaurant.

We can take away ice cream as much as we want which is nice.

I might not come back to this restaurant since my personal favorite AYCE restaurant offers cheaper price with better...

Yesterday, I had lunch at Kintan Buffet TSM Cibubur. All of the menu items were truly delightful, with a special mention to the high-quality meats and sausages. The buffet selection was quite impressive, featuring sushi, outstanding karage, various fried vegetables, curry, gyudon, cawan mushi, teriyaki, fried rice, salad, and a custom ice cream for dessert. The sauces complemented the dishes well, allowing for creative combinations.

But, my overall experience was heightened by the excellent treatment and politeness of the staff. I am particularly grateful to one of the waiters, named Putri (CMIIW about the name).
