Parsley Bakery & Resto Jakal — Restaurant in Depok

I had a breakfast right at 8 in the morning and they were ready with most of the menu, even though it was said breakfast menu would be only as listed. I got Mix Platters which served 2 slices of barbequed chicken wings, 2 pieces of barbequed sausages, 3 slices of breaded onion rings, and a handful of tortilla chips, with thousand-island like sauce (I do not know what sauce it is, but taste guaranteed). Not to mention though, on the menu display, the Mix Platters seemed to give only one slice of each snack, I was surprised they got more!! If only other restaurants do the same, serving more portion than the display.😂😂😂 For the drink, I got hot milk tea, served with variety of sugar, like slimming sugar, brown sugar, and fine sugar. I got a lovely breakfast. Thank you, Parsley. Happiness is when I realized I wore green floral dress and Parsley was all about green. 🍀🍃🌿🌾 Oh, I should pay for 60,900 rupiah but the lovely cashier let me pay only 60,000 rupiah for 29,000 Mix Platters, 24,000 Milk Tea, and tax. This is the first time i give 5 stars to restaurant in Yogyakarta. There's many variation of menu from local until western. The restaurant is in the second floor and the bakery is in the first floor. The taste of the food is excellent, the presentation is unique, the portion is just perfect that you can order starter, main course and dessert without feeling full and the prices are not expensive.

And i want to give thumbs up for the staffs that they are working proffessionally, i mean fast, friendly and helpful. There's available for smoking and non smoking room. And they also have private room for special occassion. I ordered Caesar Salad as a starter, Rawon Malang for main course and Milk tea as a dessert drink. Having love and hate relationship with Parsley since 2006. I couldn't accept when my all time favorite bread: Tempura Chicken Bread wasnt produced anymore 😭 But, since the beginning, Parsley will always be visited whenever I'm in Jogja, especially this Jakal branch. So, I accompany them from small store with clean decorations to this current cozy cafe and bakery. The taste in the restaurant just slightly change, maybe they adjust the production cost by lowering a bit quality but still good, compare to others same level restaurant.. my favorite will always be Crispy Chicken Maryland and Iga Bakar (Indonesian Style Grilled Ribs).
