Yogi Cafe & Resto — Restaurant in East Java

This restaurant has poor service, and the staff is very unfriendly.

When I arrived, neither of the two staff at the cashier acknowledged us even though they saw us come in. I ended up grabbing a menu from the counter myself. When I asked about the lobster (priced at 250-350), they responded lazily, "It's just one big lobster." Honestly, this put me off and killed my appetite, but I didn't want to think only about myself since I was with my parents. My mom even said, "You seem really tired," but the staff just kept a sour face.

I ordered sweet and sour fried fish and a lobster. The fish was very tasty and well-seasoned. The lobster, however, was just okay. The seasoning didn't really penetrate, and for that price, it didn't even include sambal.

So, I can recommend this restaurant if you want a nice place with a beautiful beach view, but only if you're not tired, hungry, and have...

We were full of hope coming here on our first night, unfortunately though it didn't live up to our hope. We were the only group there and somehow it took over an hour and our variation of seafood arrived cold, tasteless, and the crab was rotten. Tiap kali ke Pulau Merah selalu stop disini untuk lunch maupun dinner. View terbaik dari seluruh cafe yang ada disini. Tempat lumayan bersih, paling luas dan lega. Saran saja, untuk waiter mungkin perlu ditingkatkan pemahaman akan kuliner yang akan di jual sehingga bila ada pertanyaan dari tamu khususnya asing, tidak perlu kelabakan atau harus konsultasi kebagian dapur. Karena tidak lucu pula bila ada 10 request, juga harus 10 kali bolak balik tanya ke bagian dapur.

Kemudian penyajian. (Saya juga lupa terkadang saat menginfokan ke tamu). Untuk penyajian pisang coklat misalnya, ditawari dulu apakah mau di beri topping mesis atau tidak. Karena 3 kali kesini, 3 pula tamu kurang suka dengan mesisnya. Jauh lebih nikmat dengan penyajian original nya yang tanpa mesis. Mungkin ini gaya dari Yogi Cafe, tapi akan sempurna bila ditawarkan dulu mengenai bagaimana nanti jenis makanan yang akan keluar.

Harga, masuk akal dengan yang disajikan. Penyajian termasuk cepat. Juga alangkah baiknya bila minuman terlebih dahulu yang keluar dan makanan yang sudah matang. Jadi tidak perlu menunggu semua matang baru di sajikan keluar.

Overall, tempat ini masih 'terbaik' bila dibandingkan sejenisnya. Terutama...
