Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by an expansive parking lot. When we visited on a Sunday, there weren't many cars, but since the sheer size of the lot was impressive, I believe finding a parking space will be easy even during busy days. As you approach the entrance, you'll notice a tranquil Koi pond that adds a soothing touch to the atmosphere. Inside the restaurant, the interior design is inviting, with a clean and well-organized layout that makes you feel comfortable immediately.

A notable feature of Cerita Rasa is their thoughtful provision of a non-smoking outdoor seating area, a rarity in Jakarta where many establishments prioritize smoking sections. This dedicated smoke-free space is a refreshing change and deserves commendation.

The restrooms are also clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall pleasant experience. However, the restaurant's major drawback lies in the quality of its food, which is a critical aspect of any dining experience. The dishes we ordered were not particularly memorable; they were average at best. The flavors lacked the distinctiveness that would make you want to return for more. Moreover, the pricing does not align with the quality of the food, seeming too high for the taste offered, although it matches the upscale ambiance of the place.

While we didn't sample everything on the menu, our overall experience suggested that the restaurant needs to either improve the quality and taste of its dishes or consider adjusting the prices. Meals that We order seems overpriced, the taste are okay, nothing specials. The presentation of the meal is standard. The only thing that We enjoy is the atmosphere..too bad the service can’t compete with the ambience. Not single staff smile or great us since We arrived.. taking order seems impatient, then the worst thing When we order the gurame asam manis, but We have been served as gurame goreng.. When We informed the staff that this is the wrong food , the guy seems offended and start debating with us and insist that He had repeated the order with me.. yes.. you’ve repeated the order as asam manis not the fried gurame.. the whole table even listened when I exactly said what I meant to order.. I was with my parents and my Aunt.. and this was unpleasantly experience.. when the staff is very rude, insisting and arguing in front of the table.. Maybe , the restaurant can invest more with staff training and attitude.. so it can match the overpriced meal and ambience (seriously I can have better service in fast food...

Food was good, staff was helpful in suggesting choices of menu. Just a couple of things for improvement: Closing time mentioned at 10pm. We arrived at 8:15, ordered food at 8:30. Food arrived at 8:50. We were still eating when suddenly the staff came with bill to settle (9:05 I made sure by looking at my watch) and by 9:11 we were told that we need to hurry because they will clear the area. I asked closing time is supposed to be 10pm, and the staff said yes but they will clear the area by 9:30pm :-(. When we arrived we asked for the table that I had called for booking 3 days earlier (8pm because we would like to avoid hustle in fasting break time). Front desk staf said there was none under my name (tried to reconfirm by phone earlier that day but line always busy). Then they show table nearby front desk. When asked for alternative, the answer was not very nice.
