Sulawesi@Kemang — Restaurant in Jakarta

We have been coming to this restaurant before they moved to a smaller place in kemang. The quality of the food has gone down significantly. The portion has decreased by a lot as well whilst the price has increased. The cuts of the meat has become smaller and it’s not as fresh anymore. The service is extremely slow. Besides that, if you order the fish you need to check the size and the weight before they cooked it as it is based on market price. I am extremely unhappy as the last time I ordered fish from this place, the waitress told us it was 1.1 kg, when the fish shows up it was so small and after arguing, we asked for the scale and it weighs barely 600grams! And it was so hard to get them to double check the weight of the fish as they act extremely nonchalant when we complained about the size. We asked for the supervisor and there isn’t any supervisor around. All of the workers said that the fish SHRUNK in size during cooking 🤣🤣🤣 by 500 grams is crazy! Extremely unprofessional and they will try to cheat you! Beware when...

I'll start with good things: The place is quite comfortable and easy to be accessed. The Singaporean sauce is quite good.

Now some things to be improved: The grilled konro, you really need to improve the taste. It's not even close to your competitor's taste that swarming around Kemang and easily accessed within 5 km radius from your place. The beverages. Tried teh tarik, it was thin, extremely thin, too many water and ice. We ordered the food at noon, expecting the food to be ready before iftar. However, we still have to wait for the food to be served when we arrive on the afternoon, and it was cold-served.

But expectations, been trying to go for a long time, and have to say the food is okay nothing really special but not bad, did try the lobster but way to much pepper sauce the rest was fine, nasi goreng was blend, but what make me give 3 * is the service, waiters have no idea what they doing, every time you ask something they needed to go check with the chef, than I book a VIP room for dinner where you supposedly have more attentive service and had to keep standing up and ask things from the waiters, slow service and...
