If you’re looking for a cozy spot in Sunter to satisfy your sushi cravings without breaking the bank, Chiyo Sushi Sunter is a hidden gem worth checking out. For its price point, the food is genuinely satisfying — the sushi is fresh, nicely presented, and portions are generous enough to leave you happy but not overly stuffed. The menu has a good variety too, from classic salmon and tuna rolls to more playful options with unique sauces. I was pleasantly surprised at how well they balance quality and affordability — it’s definitely better than a lot of other places in the same price range.
What really makes Chiyo stand out, though, is their exceptional service. The staff here are incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely seem to enjoy making your dining experience pleasant. They check in just the right amount, top up your tea without you asking, and always have a warm smile on their faces. Little touches like that really make you feel welcomed and appreciated as a customer.
Another fun bonus is the selection of board games they have available. It’s not every day you find a sushi place where you can sit back after your meal and enjoy a game or two with friends. It adds such a nice, relaxed vibe to the whole experience — perfect for a casual hangout, date night, or even a small gathering.
Overall, Chiyo Sushi Sunter is a great spot for good food, amazing service, and a bit of extra fun. Highly...
Read moreWe ordered three dishes and the last two didnt even come after more than an hour of waiting. We had to ask the staff twice abt it, eventually wanting to cancel the orders and just leave because we are starving. Everytime we asked them about our orders, they just asked us to wait for a while but didn't update us. It seems like the table beside us experienced the same thing, and got free service food in return. They told us that they ran out of stock for the food, after one hour of waiting. And the only dish that came tastes okay, but could have been served in better plating. Price is not worth it and this is so far the worst dining experience of my life. It seems like the restaurant just opened recently, and if this continues I fear that it...
Read moreWe went here on a weekday for a reunion. Everyone brings their kids and have a pretty good time. Parking is available on their lot. Can be hard to find parking if it's packed during weekend.
As far as food, it's pretty good, nothing special to rave about. They have their salmon items and they are all pretty good.
What really differentiate this place from others is how kid friendly this place is. They have lots and lots of toys and they have a very good atmosphere where the kids can play around and the parents can chat in peace.
The pudding with the caramel was a slight let down. It looks fun and more tasty than it is. It's not bad, but not that good either.
Definitely a place to check out if you are looking for a place that's good...
