Grand Cin Yen (Bisa vegetarian) — Restaurant in Jakarta

Visiting this restaurant with my family on sunday morning. The interior is like grandma house 😁

Ordering sort of menu, they have different size for the menu. I order for the smallest one, maybe like 6 menu for 5 person.

Talas Kombinasi (Taro Combination) 110k I think this one is the best, rarely found this menu on other place. There are lot of toppings and the flavour is rich and smokey 👌 They can make the vegetarian version.

Fumak Butter Sauce 90k This one also good but I think the portion very small. Crispy and saucey

Kim Chun Tofu 100k Not so special menu, although this menu is their speciality. The tofu is very soft but the sauce not enough strong

Fried Pork belly 110k Not really recommended. A bit dry and the texture a bit harg. Dont really like the sauce also because there is coriandee leavea

Eggplant claypot 90k Good but not so special, many toppings, good taste, just like ordinary claypot.

Sour Curry Shrimp 110k Full of shrimp, very worth the price, the sauce more like sweet malaysian curry. Not my style of food, but its good

Busy place weekends, plenty of vegetarian options, good for groups and sharing, better be hungry or at least 3 people to share together, it is pantai indah kapuk, have other shops and alfa mart nearby, easy to park, silent and casual place to spend time with friends and family. Its good bringing kids too, good for vegetarians, chinese food lovers.. they had nice tea and free refill, was good tea compared to soke restaurants which offer free flow of drinks such as tea.. i liked it, but it was a standard place, dont expect too much, if you are vegetarian and like chinese food , you sure would like more than i did. Always crowded, long queue. Perfect chinese family restaurant. Nevertheless, super nice food and prompt services. We always come to this resto for special occasion. Actually, we have tried lots of dishes but can’t remember the name and forgot to take picture. In summary, all the food we ordered always super nice and satisfying. It is savoury, well blended, rich in flavor and good ingredients pairing and nice aroma. For some menu such Ayam Tangkap (with pandan and lime leaves), fried squid and Kailan sauted with 2 combination (seaweed), they paired with crunchy, crispy, salty-savoury sensation. .
