Holycow! STEAKHOUSE By Chef Afit — Restaurant in Jakarta

Okay. This high rating is not because of the ambience of the place or the great service. Thats all fine, but i gave this rating purely base on the same steak that i always order when i come here which is the Chef Afit Signature Wagyu Tenderloin in medium and definitely pick the mushroom sauce (the blackpepper sauce is too sweet and it ruins the natural flavors of the steak) if you enjoy blackpepper like i do...ask the waiter for a blackpepper grinder and grind it all over the steak and lots on the mushroom sauce! I'm telling you its an awesome combination! Even though i had it medium but its not as "red" as you think, in fact its quite cooked...but despite that the meat is still crazy tender and at only 209k 🤤🤤🤤 its better than most pricy steaks at some highend restaurant! This is one of the best steak house in Pantai Indah Kapuk area, which is the far north of Jakarta. Near highway exit, and easy to be found, just use Gmaps for direction.

1st floor is a bit small, compared to spacious 2nd floor. But hey, I'm here for the steak not the place lol.

They have various steak selections, like Wagyu steak, prime steak, Hokube, and others like USDA.

Price not too steep, steak was made just the way I like it medium rare. But you can ask for well done or any other level though. Most of the time they got it right medium rare.

All servers were very friendly, and always asked us about the steak does it suitable with our likings.

Ordered a big bites rib eye medium, came a wee bit on the wet side with blood (the steak was thick, it's 400gram and it's still looked like medium raw when I cut it) . Sent back to fire it up for a bit, the visual was looks great. Unfortunately the quality of the ribeye was under my expectation to the level that, it's quite tough to bite. It's not the kitchen fault but more to the meat quality. The French fries was well seasoned. The corn was ok. The mushroom sauce was ok. The bbq sauce (friend's ordered other type of steak) was very artificially smoky hint flavour and on the sweet side.
