ICEBERG PIZZA AND GELATO — Restaurant in Jakarta

We were staying nearby at Double tree Hilton. Googled places for a good Italian pasta. Iceberg came up as having great pasta and open till 11pm. We arrived at 9:50pm and were told food orders are closed. We said the web site says open till 11pm. Then they offered pizza only since we had already paid for taxi to come there we decided to have the pizza. It was ok but was very rushed. The place looked like it could be a great restaurant. Maybe if they had staff the were not so keen to close the doors and go home it could have been a much better experience. At 10:15pm they had closed the front gates and turned front sign off. If a restaurant advertising being open till 11pm they should employ staff that are willing to work till then. Not treat customers rudely because they walk in at 9:50pm. The food was good, but not too special. For example the fettucini alfredo needs more proteins in it to be sold for its current price. The pizza was also not bad but not too special either. The gelato was very good though, at least the chocolate and coffee flavours ya (but my double scoops gelato was missing the cherry☹️).. When I ate there, the toilets were quite clean and didn't smell. The soap and tissue were available. For the staffs, they were nice and friendly.. If you complain about the table cleaning, I have no complaints at all. I like my table clean even if I was still there for desserts. They were quick to clean the dirty dishes on the table, which I happen to like.. Overall, it was quite good dining experience, if only the prices were lower.. Because it was a bit pricey to be compared to the food...

The employees behaved as they like - almost being inconsiderate, we were having our dinner, and so the music is played is not quite our taste; the main problem is not the music it was they played it in a very loud way and we knew it’s loud - because the waiter couldn’t even hear our order, we have to repeat our orders it was completely absurd. And so we were trying to address- not to whining or making a scene, just trying to get to know why, so we asked for the manager, their excuse was the managers/anyone in charge were absent, “the host” who declared as the highest employee who was present at the time stated “it’s not their I’m also not in a position to decide what should be done but, you’re definitely not the first costumer...
