Cikang Coffee & Resto — Restaurant in Jakarta

I found this resto in a short time after got rejected so many times for ifthar reservation. Fortunately I browse n found CIKANG.

I was intrigued by the food since it says western food combine with padangnese (west sumatra) flavor. It was tasty, yummy, and as expected. Soo happy to eat here.

Im not sure if this restaurant is new or not because it seems that not many people knew it since it was not packed at all at the time it supposes to be fully packed.

The service was great, informative, the hospitality great, the toilet is clean, n this is important, and they also provide mushola for praying 1 level below, near the kitchen area.

Overall my gathering with friend was so joyful and I enjoy everything here.

The service overall excellent, the food came out pretty fast. The waiter/waitresses quick to response and good knowledge to their own menu.

We ordered Chicken Fried Rice and Cajun Salmon. It might be on the expensive side, considering the local standard.

The food itself, the fried rice is superb delicious and the chicken satay so tender.

But as for the salmon dish, for 110k the taste just below par. The cajun spices might not be used on Salmon generously and the Salmon itself pretty dry. The mashed potato is the saving grace.

I enjoyed their spice combination, not too spicy so suitable for you who can't stand the heat. The portion size is sufficient. They gave a generous amount of red chips. Super thick coconut milk in their gulai. My friend and I ordered Ketupat Sayur, Soto Padang, Gado-Gado local, Gulai Ikan Karang, Gulai Pakis, all of them were delicious! They serve refill tea with premium tea options. They also serve the famous coffee 'Tanamera'. Lack of options for dessert.
