Kopium Artisan Coffee — Restaurant in Jakarta

Rather small, unassuming, and a bit out of the way. Went here because Six Ounces was super full. Kopium is located in a small two-lane residential street. Thus, parking space is fairly limited. Officially there are only 3 parking spots in front of the shop. Unofficially, you can park in front of their neighbors (though a lot of them posted 'no parking' signs).

Coffee was okay. We ordered the roasted almond and caramel latte. Both were good. Also had the aglio olio with beef & mushroom which exceeded our expectations. We are not coffee enthusiasts, but for those who are, the shop also provide multiple manual brewing options (V60, French Press, Chemex, and so on which seems gibberish for regular customers like yours truly).

Price is affordable around 3/4 what you pay for Starbucks and slightly cheaper than Six Ounces.

The shop is filled with creative signages, quotes and murals. Design is on the casual side and less industrial like many contemporary coffee shops. Bit more colorful and fun with the Tintin and Asterix murals.

Overall, a good third place option to spend the day...

Foods and drinks are ok. But i waited like for 5 mins, no waiter came to greet us (no, they were not busy, they were chatting), i had to go to the counter to get the menu. And the non smoking area smells like smoke, very thick that i have to move to the very back of the room to avoid the smell. NOT RECOMMENDED for health-conscious pleople and non-smoking people. Seriously there are many cafe with good food, good service and good...

This place is so comfortable and aesthetic. It has a free parking lot so you don't need to worry. The foods are great, especially the drinks.
