We came here for dinner on a Sunday and you have to park all the way down the street (in front of people's homes). The hostess mentioned a waiting list of 4 pax. So we waited and soon they set up our seat outdoors near the ice cream freezer. Then came the first issue, as no waiter attended us, we assume we have to order via their QR code system. We selected our menu and checked out and we tried to confirm with the waiters if the order was correct. Then finally came the waiter, he had no idea - he called his supervisor. The supervisor said that their updated menu is their manual, he then handed us the menu. Tried to order the ayam seribu rempah, but it was sold out.
We finished our orders and waited for 40 minutes until we finally asked the supervisor if the order was ready. Another few minutes went by and still no food on our table, we wanted to just close the bill and head home, but then came one of the dishes - ayam betutu. Had to wait another few minutes and came the Ayam Bakar and bola-bola (fried meatballs). We asked to cancel the veggie dish we ordered as we were just not going to wait for it as we had chowed down half the rice meal. Then came our Labu telur asin (we had even forgotten we ordered this dish).
Total waiting time for dishes 1 to 3 was 54 minutes - 59 minutes. The labu came after 1 Hour. Sadly, the table next to ours that had ordered before us still has yet to have a dish come out - and they ordered Nasi Goreng (Fried Rice). 🤣😂 This was more than one hour waiting time just for Nasi Goreng.
The place was well lit and quite comfortable. However, the food was just okay and they definitely needed to up their kitchen coordination as well as have the waiters not crowd near the cashier and more attentive to the customers. We sat near the back and it was difficult just to call one of the waiters.
On the way out, the floor manager (i assume) and the cashier could only apologize...
Read moreA fantastic location for either a nicer family gathering or a casual romantic dinner on a reasonable budget. We had the pleasure of eating here after noticing it on our drive home and so glad we decided to dine here after we read a misfortunately unreasonable negative review.
The ambience is a wonderful and though I have only had the chance to have the Nasi Goreng Leviticus and Spring Rolls, both were fantastic. At about 50k a plate it is very fairly priced, and most importantly the portions are very large, with the amount of chicken alone they include in the Nasi Goreng they could charge 70k and would be competitive for Jakarta.
Ambience : Is perfect for a casual romantic outing or a nicer family gathering.
Location : Is incredible convent just off the main road, but far enough away from it too not be too loud
The Food : Is very reasonably priced for the size of the portions and the facility itself, on top of being very good, especially when considered this is a very new restaurant that is still testing it's menu.
The Drinks : Had a wide option of smoothies and other drinks, and really appreciated they had a budget option of water for only 10k
The Staff : Was incredibly polite and excited to serve and was a real addition to the experience in the best possible way.
In conclusion this restaurant fills it's niche perfectly and will be...
