Read moreGreat dining experience. Omakase offered good value at Rp1.2mn pp, before tax, for 18 kinds. Chef Taufik and Afit were experienced, friendly and passionate about their craft. All dishes were beautifully presented, innovative and they were definitely generous with uni, truffle and caviar. Sushi had great fish to rice ratio; thick slices of fish over a small bed of rice. The way we like it :). Highlights for me were: 1.) Aburi scallop sushi topped with ikura and uni - scallop was thick and sweet 2.) Cooked Madai with Truffle - skin was crispy and meat was fork tender and juicy, topped with freshly shaved truffle 3.) Hokkaido Kaki Furai - oyster was fried to perfection, fresh, plump and juicy. Chefs said they could accomodate special requests for kids and ingredients not on the menu, airflown from Japan (1 week preorder).
All the courses came out in a timely manner, with no long waits in between, which we were happy with.
Service was attentive; empty plates promptly cleared and ocha refilled.
All the best of luck to yoku yatta and we'll be going...

Ordered their best seller roasted hainanese chicken rice. Presentation wise decent. Taste wise though I thought was pretty delicious! Just the right soft chicken texture over fluffy rice flavoured well with fried garlic bits accompanied by a tasty broth/soup. Portion wise I think is just right. The other winner was the iced tea tarik! Reminded me of the ones in Singapore. One small detail I did not appreciate was the noisy background music which was kind of loud. I think I will come back and try the new goreng..looks like the typical Malay style...
