Overall food was okay. We tried spagetti, salad and soup. The soup was supposed to have pouched egg (written in the menu) , but it came out as a totally raw egg as shown by the picture I uploaded. Pouched egg is not the same as raw egg and not everyone wants raw egg. I was already too tired to complain. Ambience was nice and the owner was also warm. The most complaint is about the waitress called Farida who was aggresive towards us. We ask for split bills. The male waiter said okay, but was then replaced by her. She was too lazy to split the bills for us and was aggresively saying that we cannot split the bill. She also input the wrong price aka. not the same as the menu. We only realised it after paying and trying to split the bills among us. We even made sure by asking for the menu again to see the price for lychee tea It was written 27K, not 32K. So she had to void the CC and recharge it. In the whole process she was very aggresive and not even one apology!!! The most unacceptable thing is the treatment from her.
as there is no reply-function here, I have to make a second review to clear this up: I am sorry, but let us agree to disagree with your attempt to clean up the situation and push it to me. Great that you are able to read numbers and see the value of our bill. It has no place in this public comment tho. Very indiscrete. Regarding the soup: In the menu it says "poached egg", not raw egg. That is a big difference..! All 3 of us studied the menu while choosing dishes and drinks, none of us saw a well visible statement, that the "splitting of bills is prohibited in this restaurant". We ordered lychee ice tea and got lychee ice tea like ordered. The price on the bill did not match with the price in the hardcopy menu. We compared and showed it to the waitress. That is why she had to cancel the payment and book it again with the correct price. Both, my review and your "happy smile, it's your fault"- reply are public, so people can see our complaint about the verbally aggressive and unfriendly waitress and you totally ignoring that, while putting us at fault.
Very unprofessional...
Read morePlan B is my best Spanish restaurant in Jakarta! There are some new other Spanish restaurants around Senopati area, but Plan B is still my favorite. Plan B has many kinds of tapas on menu with very kind price and also has a good wine list (wine is also kind price) 👍
When I ordered Paella de Mariscos, the staff asked me the cooked level, so I chose Al dente and it was a good choice. Seafood is fresh and Safran flavor is proper.
Squid ink spaghetti makes my lips and tongue dye black. Really black! I recommend this to old couple, but not recommend to a new starting couple 😄 Spaghetti Gambas Al Ajillo and Noqui Jamon Iberico are typically good.
Sangria is served with fully filled glass, so a glass is enough to enjoy along with all foods. Both red and white sangria are good. Especially, white sangria has a very nice balance of sour, sweet, alcohol, fruity flavor.
Thanks to Plan B being here!

There comes new paella half & half (black squid ink & seafood paella). Excellent to taste two kinds of paella and portion is very big enough (recommend for minimum 3 person). Segovian style roast suckling baby pig 1/4 is expensive, but it deserves. It’s unique pig dish in Jakarta 👍 Burrata is also fresh and properly dressed with balsamic and olive oil.
They have a good wine list. All of wines are Spain. Marques de Murrieta Reserva is a great wine of reserva level wine from Rioja.
Sangria white pitcher can serve almost 6-8 glasses. If more than 4 persons, pitcher is more economical.

Read moreI have been plenty times in Catalunya, Barcelona, not very far from Paella's city of origin and same region as Paella's roots.. Now I know that good western dishes are usually hard to find in Asia and often not tasty however the Paella in this place was the worse I ever had in my entire life, lentil soup was equally disaster -still better than Paella though- , i cant comment on drinks, they were standard, nothing so special after all.. maybe should try just finger food and drinks but if you go to this place for such finger food n drinks, there are plenty other place in the beautiful city of Jakarta. Nobody even checked how was the food or service, drinks were coming late, bread until we requested was just one supersmall sized one and not even one for each -we were 7 person ordered plenty for sharing, supposedly should be given bread accordingly- even olive oil was not tasty, the lighting too was too close to the tables and heating your head up all the time during the dinner.. oh credit card went and i had ro go myself to put the pin, staff could have came to table.. however place has many customers too which was weekend, so you might as well go and give it a try and drink wine one evening in outside seating in a calm and not humid Jakarta evening.. hope they consider improving their...
