I am the father who brought my daughter to the Senyan City Mall ABC COOKING Trial Lesson 12:45 class today.
I strongly complain to the ABC cooking executives for what the manager here did and said to me today.
My daughter loves to cook, she has taken cake courses in the past and she has attended trial lessons several times. There was no notice or advance notice that you would no longer do the Trial Lesson a few times. I wanted to make a cake for my daughter to enjoy Christmas, so I was able to book online, so I came here to complete the payment. Then the manager told me that my daughter had attended the trial lesson several times and could not attend today's lesson. He asked me and my daughter to get out of here, he'll pay me back. Ask your executives what this is doing.
Had we not been able to attend in advance, we would have made other plans for Christmas and would not have come here.
I know your ABC cooking is being used as a way to sign up for regular classes through the Trial lesson. Even if my daughter, who only has time on weekends, wants to attend regular classes, it is almost impossible to book the desired time through online or offline booking.
I will notify the Korean Society of this move and try my best to prevent everyone from using ABC cooking.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was joining the trial session. The experience was not that great, the front desk staff is helpful and friendly. While, the instructor is somehow not really āservicingā. I was complained that thereās fly inside the studio, āmbaa ada lalatā and she said āiya kak itu soalnya sesuatu yg gak bisa kita kontrolā. Like, gurl you know that you are working in the kitchen and hygiene is a top priority.
Thus, you canāt do anything with that you can be more attentive by saying āsorry for the inconvenience blablablaā. Most of the process are taking over by th instructor so we donāt have like a really accessible with the cake that weāre making. Even, on the final part of the process which is decorating she doesnāt even ask that, do I want to create it my own or not ā while she didnāt do a great job anyway on decoration.

Satu hal yang para ABC staff TIDAK INFORMASIKAN SAAT MEREKA JUALAN adalah... jadwal untuk member (regular class) tidak sebanyak jadwal trial class!
Member signup BERJUTA-JUTA, tapi:
jika kita telat/miss the class, KUOTA KELAS kita akan tetap terpakai. tanpa bisa reschedule, tanpa bisa refund. Jadi kita BAYAR 700rb - 900rb per SESI.. for NOTHING! Cuma bisa dapat selembar resep, yang kalau kita google juga bisa dapat resep macam2. Sistem mereka sama sekali gak ada kemudahan atau pelayanan untuk customer. Mereka cuma mau duit masuk.
Jadwal kelasnya kebanyakan di weekday, di jam kerja 10.00, 14.00 atau 16.30. mengejar jadwal 16.30 kalaupun keluar kantor lebih dulu, daerah senayan city dari jam 4 sudah macet. opsi weekday jam 19.30 selesai malam sekali.
Opsi jadwal weekend ada (Sabtu/Minggu), tapi sangat sedikit jadwalnya dan jadwalnya cepat penuh terus karena rebutan. Kenapa? karena di weekend, ABC lebih prioritaskan banyak jadwal Trial Class untuk jualan membership.
Untuk pricing kelas semahal itu, customer servicenya sucks! Terutama soal policy keterlambatan. I'm OK kalau telat, cuma toleransi 10 menit - lebih dari itu gak boleh ikut kelas karena menghargai member lainnya. Tapi masalahnya cara mereka mempraktikan this policy sangat menyebalkan.
Here's my experience: Satu kali, saya ikut kelas cooking jam 16.30, satu member lainnya datang terlambat. 16.45 baru hadir di resepsionis, DIBOLEHKAN MASUK. Dia beres2 cuci tangan dulu, kita BARU MULAI KELAS 16.47. Saya dan member lainnya menunggu dari jam 16.30 kurang...pengajarnya hanya mondar mandir, sama sekali tidak menyapa, tidak ramah, tidak minta maaf karena kita jadi harus menunggu. Pengajarnya juga baru ke station jam 16.45 juga (jadi member harus standby, sedangkan pengajar tidak harus standby early dan boleh telat:)).
Seminggu kemudian saya daftar kelas baking jam 16.30. Karena gak bisa keluar kantor lebih cepat, saya baru sampai 16.41 di resepsionis, TIDAK DIBOLEHKAN MASUK. Katanya meskipun telat 1 MENIT juga tidak boleh ikut kelas, karena kelas sudah mulai. Padahal saya lihat, kelasnya BARU saja mulai, pengajar baru saja mulai ngomong intro, belum menyentuh apapun/mulai step apapun. Seandainya resepsionisnya gak menahan saya, ngomong bla bla bla lama, dan justru membantu saya untuk cepat check in... saya bisa segera catch up ke cooking station. Toh bahan dan alat juga sudah tersedia.
