We came like 5:15pm, was expecting they were open already but rather at 6:30pm. So we wait, while taking a list of name. The tables only like 11 tables (maximum of 40 people). We was called like at 7pm even we are like no. 15 from the list. We came here was expecting someone at their cramped kitchen cooked (the lady thai owner as advertised) but rather they all already cooked maybe before and just warm up to serve. I was kind of disappointed.
Food was ok if we compare to “jeh o chula” in bangkok (that was the best). We dont mind the long wait but the food here to us just ok, as remedy when we are craving thai foods.
The tomyung soup too spicy even i can eat spicy then the flavor not that rich. Sticky manggo rice just ok as the manggo not that sweet and warm. Salmon yum taste ok but not fantastic Hoi joh not too hot and outside moist not crispy. Phad thai not bad
Their portion were medium for single person. Ok for sharing.
For other people who never ate thai in bangkok, this can be a taste of what thai food taste like. Price was not expensive as the sizing was not big.
They should improve their services as they got big crowds to wait. Order food was taken at the piece of paper, our order was by mistake sent to other customer, our take away fried rice forget to cook so i need to wait to reorder again. Cashier took order and also handle payment. No bills give away to us just the lady saying the total food price.
But by all means, this can be improve through times as their foods are already hype and promising. Please improve your way in handling line up...
Read moreTried out this viral Thai shop for dinner. Since it was a rainy day, the place was not as busy. But still have plenty of guests. For the food, got the tom yum, seafood omelette, goong ob woonsen. Tom yum was ok, it’s a bit too strong lime juice taste with sweet end note for my preference. The omelette is crunchy due to the added flour in the mix. It was heavy with white pepper and i would prefer the sweet chilis sauce to be separated because it masked all the other flavor. Ob woonsen was a bit too wet & and the vermicelli was a bit too soft. Also can dial up on the sweet and savory note. For dessert, got the mango sticky rice. Sticky rice was ok, but the mango was not ripe enough. Also if want to serve it proper Thai way, it should be peeled & sliced. Overall the experience was just ok. Also service can be improved. It’s better to assigned seat numbers rather than calling out people’s name when the...
