An All-Indonesian bistro with emphasis on the spices.
Had dinner here with a group of 4. Ordered Sate Ayam Matah Uluwatu, Cumi Bakar, Gurame Goreng Wangi, and some vegetable side. Here's the rundown for the food.
Sate Ayam was good, but the micro heater that came with it didn't help with the heating. It got cold and a bit chewy quick, but the seasoning was on point. Not too much, not too little. Gurame goreng was decent. It was deep fried. Not much difference compared to Gurame from other places that have them too. Cumi Bakar was good. The chewiness is just perfect; not too chewy, not too hard. The seasoning was balanced. It teetered on sweet and savoury without tipping over.
That's enough of the food. The service was impeccable. The staff are always on standby nearby. My thanks to staff Dwi for accommodating my table's needs, be it questions or extras. Thank you, Dwi.
All in all, eating here has been a delightful experience. If you are interested in Indonesian cuisine with uncommon but delicious tinglings for your tastebuds, I implore you to give this...
Read moreLove love love their tahu telor!!! I think its one of the best in town, sure it is a super deep fried tahu telor, but idk I am addicted to it hahaha. Oh, the place is always super packed whether it be weekdays or weekends. But these days its easier and faster to get tables.
I am a regular here. So I always ordered their sate jejaka, instead of peanut sauce its using tomato sauce, so it doesnt overwhelm you with the nuttiness. Love their terong as well, but dont get it with the salted fish cuz its waaaaay too salty with the salted fish.
Nasi tempong size is not that big honestly, but its good and flavorful. Bakwan platter is ginormous, they are not skimping on it. Love it. Seriously, you can just order their bakwan platter and rice and be super full, trust me.
They also have a free refill ice tea which is a plus point for me. I think most of their food is truly super good and I am giving my super recommendation for all you people to...
Read moreThe restaurant has a nice atmosphere and offers a wide variety of food options, which is definitely a plus. I tried the tahu telor, and it was absolutely delicious! However, my overall experience wasn’t great as I visited during a public holiday, and it was extremely busy. The service struggled to keep up.
The food arrived late and lukewarm, which was disappointing. I noticed that some dishes sat out for a while before being brought to our table, affecting their quality—especially for dishes like lontong cap gomeh, which are best served hot. Additionally, the satay came much later than the other dishes, long after I had finished everything else.
I hope they work on improving their service during peak times, as the place has a lot of potential with its great ambiance and delicious...
