Shao Kao — Restaurant in Jakarta

My friends and I had diarrhea after eating the dim sum in here. Three of us went to this place 5 June 2019, around 6 P.M.

We ordered skewers and dim sum (char siew pau, salted egg pau, and siew may) . All three of us shared the skewers, but only 2 of us ate the siew may. The siew may tasted a bit weird and not fresh, but we ate it anyways. The utensils they provide us were still dirty and had some traces of bbq sauce.

My other friend and I who ate the siew may had diarrhea during the dawn. Both of us been sitting in the toilet since dawn until noon.

The one who did not ate the siew may did not suffer from any diarrhea.

All 3 of us are eating different lunch, and did not eat anything after we had dinner at Shao Kao, so the chances of food poisoning from other food source are quite slim.

This place is located in Pantai Indah Kapuk Area, easy to find, easy to park your car. Now about the food, they make everything in the satay way. U name it from the carrot satay, mushroom satay, seafood, and meat. And its non halal btw, but they display the porky satay in separate place. You can have your satay choices grilled or boiled in a soup. I prefered mine grilled. They have quite many food options. They have some rice bowl on their menu as well. Not forget to mention they sell alcohol drinks. I had some porky satay, beef, prawn, mushroom, all grilled and fried otak2. I went here with friend from Singapore, they said it have an enjoyable atmosphere all around. The shop was really packed even though it was at 9pm until around 11? It was quite hazy due to the tiredness 😅 It has good selection of the skewers food you can try any of your favorite stuff really, or go bold and try new food (ﾉ)`ω´(ヾ)

Like I said the place were jam packed, the place itself looked quite small and compact, but then you noticed how many waiter and waitress working there!!! There is so many!!!
