I am personally a big fan of Soto Tangkar, and it happened as I was browsing through GrabFood pages and I came across Soto Tangkar Daging Asap 🥳🥳🥳 I was like, this MUST BE GOOD !!! Ordered it via GrabFood, tried to lower my expectation since I have not heard any recommendation to try this. As I am reheating the soup at home, I can definitely smell the smokiness. The first sip of the soup and my first bite of the meat.. "I don't like it, I LOVE IT !!!" 😁😁😁 On another occasion, I also ordered for my wife and she LOVED it too. Everything was delicious, the tenderness and smokiness of the meat, the paru (I prefer the fried compared to the sautee), and of course the soup was just right on point! On top of that, you can taste the high quality meat and the portion of the meat is HUGE! However personally, I find the soup a little too sweet to my tastebuds. I would prefer less or none of the kecap manis if possible. It is my Top 2 Favorite for Soto Tangkar, the #1 winner still goes to Soto Tangkar Pak Uban at Pusdiklantas near Alam Sutera. Try the Sate Kuah there, it is the BOMB!
