I'm quite a regular at Sbux that I can earn one of those Moleskin diaries at the end of the year. But one thing I noticed in this Sbux chain: too many barista, only few willing to clean up tables. And when they do, I could say I'm much better off doing it myself. Dude, you work in Sbux, the least you can do when you see a customer waiting for you to lift up those plates and clean up the table surface is hurry up and just do it. I studied abroad for my degree and I had to scrub toilets to survive. Nothing is beneath me when I think I can earn money for it. And scrubbing table is not a nasty job, you get paid for it handsomely I might add. Just because you are under 25 and can speak little English doesnt mean you cant scrub after somebody else who paid 100k for a cup of latte. This is an isolated case, when a branch is new and frequented by younger crowds. I have to add, the Sbux branches in North Jkt area are much2 friendlier. This one in East Jkt needs to improve. Ppl will notice for sure. And hire ppl who can at least bus tables AND be friendly to customers of any age. One more thing: pls check the toilets ppl, don't just wait on the barista counter gossipping nonsense. When there's no crowd you should check on the toilets, if it runs out of toilet paper, or the bowl needs a good scrubbing, and the soap needs refills, etc. For a pretty new branch like this one, your toilets needed to be squeaky clean. Even if you hv fancy degree, the fact you work in Sbux...
Β Β Β Read moreA very nice Starbucks outlet. Unique in its appearance, however standar good starbucks interior inside. There's a drivethru here, but you still have to pay parking to enter the whole premises. A shame, since if there's no parking fee incurred, would be a great experience for those on the go. For those elected to dine in, parking space should not be an issue, since there's an abundant parking space in and around the premises.
Interior are standard starbucks interior, this is not a reserve store after all, so everything is working perfectly and in order. There are 2 floors for the seating place/dining in customers, with the first floor open to all, and the 2nd floor is for smoking customers only (or for those who don't mind the smoke and prefer outdoor air coming in). Restrooms are clean and nice, located in the 2nd floor. Almost all desk have dedicated power outlets, so for those looking to do a quick call/work but need to top up their cells/laptops, this is a perfect setup.
All baristas are friendly as usual, and order are made swiftly even though there's quite a long queue for those ordering to go from drivethru.
Overall a recommended starbucks outlet, especially when you're craving for starbucks and are in the area. 5 stars reserved if and when drivethru would not incur...
Β Β Β Read moreI have a bad experience in this Starbucks, the management allowing the immigration officers to be harassing foreign customers in public, despite you had legal permission to stay in the country, the immigration officers can harass you in public and shamelessly embarrassing you in public, this establishment supposed to be a safe space for everyone to enjoy their time without any interruption from all this so called officers, the management supposed to be taking legal action to the office for harassing their customers, Itβs a shame that it came from the brand as big as Starbucks to be allowing this type of behavior come to pass. I suggest if youβre a foreigner, donβt come to this place, it was an unpleasant experience for me. Iβve been a loyal customer and member of Starbucks for a very long time, but after this situation I think I will be cancelling Starbucks as one of my options, Iβm so disappointed...
