Decent steak with a great service and helpful staff.
Came here with mom, who walks with cane. Place is at 2nd floor with no lift. No no for mom. But the staff quickly offered us to use the cafe at 1st floor instead. And the server also went to the cafe for our order. Such a pleasant, welcoming service.
We ordered steaks. I ordered striploin. 200k IDR. Mom got picanha. Got the drinks from the cafe. I liked the Dirty Matcha - not too indulged in caffeine so I can digest it well.
The food itself... the striploin is decent. It's a bit tough in some parts and I got tendons/muscle-y parts. The flavor is fine, enough to be enjoyed in its meaty glory. The juice flowing as I slice the meat. No perfume-y smell. I also had a mashed potato. salad, and mushroom sauce. Salad and sauce are not remarkable, while the potato smells a bit perfume-y and a bit too sweet for my taste.
The picanha arrived 15 minutes later after I finished my meal. But it fares much better. Soft meat and more richly textured, finer in taste. And the potato gratin melts really well with an extre cream on top. Great stuff.
It's a middle ranged steakhouse. With around the same price, you can get HolyCow. But for people in East Jakarta, despite a more limited serving, I think Steakment could be a decent...

I expect the cut to be thicker though. Love the mushroom sauce, not so much for the black pepper. You have to pay 15K for extra sauce. Wanted to try their truffle fries but I have enough fries already. The Sirloin Steak NZ was perfect thickness and they cook it right, medium rare. however I found the meat to be tough and hard to eat. Duck confit was just okay. Mashed potato that came with duck confit was delicious. Next time I will try their meltique...
Read moreBeen a regular at this restaurant. The steak is always superb. Moreover, i just found out that this establishment already Halal Certified. But what surprised me, with how well the dishes are, it is still reasonably priced. Bevs on 20-30k range, dishes on 40-70k range, but yeah obviously the steaks are on different price range, but still on our budget. There is a kids zone, that is well maintained, it is advised to stock up on their crayons and coloured pencils. A little side note is the food came a bit longer than i expected, but yeah maybe because i Ordered pasta at a steakhouse, so yeah that's that. Otherwise, it was...
