Place was really nice, with a very large parking lot. Coffee is what you would expect, quite pricey and decent enough taste. Most of the food here was somehow cheaper than the drinks, and tasted very nice. I recommend their signature bowl (which was basically nasi campur). Went here on a tuesday and it was still quite packed! Cannot imagine going here on a weekend.
What I quiet enjoy from the cafe was the architectural aspect, and the entire cafe's emphasis on design, a lot of mockups were displayed and I really enjoyed looking around, exploring the entire building.
Staff were friendly (and put up with the crowd well), made my drink in a very timely manner. If you decide to order their bottled drinks, they just give you a cup filled with ice. DO NOT ORDER THE WATER! It's 30k!
Another thing I recommend, is that if you want to work, or just have a much calmer setting while still having AC, I would recommend you to go to the meeting room, its on the left adjacent to the toilet, and the crowd there is much more quiter, and there's plenty of seats. I ended up sitting on the large meeting table from 4pm until closing time which was 9pm. And the WIFI was fast too, my friend even held a online conference beside me.
What I dont really enjoy, is the seating on the indoor section, across the cashier, there was not a clear designation on where people are supposed to rest their feet, or where to sit on. Cant even put my laptop down for work. uncomfortable, but i understand its a design thing. and for some reason, the people at this section was more rude? I sat here at two different times of the day, maybe i was just unlucky.
Just take all of the things into consideration when visiting, if you want the least crowd, visit early in the morning during the weekdays, highest visitor hour during my time visiting was from 2pm to 5.40-ish pm. Nice job owners! and to those who are looking to visit, I recommend...
Read moreWithout a doubt my current favorite coffee shop when it comes to architecture. The moment I stepped inside I was impressed by how well designed the whole place is. They even allow bicycles to enter from the side door which for me is a thoughtful detail. It gives a sense that the place is not only about coffee but also about lifestyle and community.
The building itself is something that you do not see every day. Right at the center there is a structure that looks like an amphitheater. It creates a gathering point where people can sit and relax. From there you can also go upstairs to the second floor and get a better view of the whole area. It is the kind of setting that makes you want to stay longer just to enjoy the atmosphere.
For the coffee I personally have no complaints at all. The price is on the higher side but in my opinion it really pays off considering the experience you get from the place. I tried their cold brew and also the beyrish and both drinks were excellent. The flavors were bold and refreshing exactly what I wanted.
This is definitely a coffee shop that I will come back to in the future not only for the drinks but also for the whole experience of being in such a well...
Read moreI visited tanatap coffee ampera a few days ago. And here's my review: this place is big enough, looks clean, and aesthetic. But..I have some notes for tanatap:
I saw some rats were passing by, one indoor, two outdoor. I was like 'seriously?!' I mean, tanatap doesn't have dirty kitchen (I guess) but how come those rats were passing by 🙂🙂 I and my friend were shock seeing those rats, hopefully you guys can manage cleanliness better ya, tanatap team :)
I asked one of the staffs there to kindly help refill my ice cube, but then she refuse and tell to me to just get inside to the cashier desk and ask there. When we get to the cashier desk, they gave me a new glass that filled by ice cube already. I mean.. you can just serve customer directly as you will give us the new cup one right?
the mushalla is so small where located between janitor room and toilet, where we can see the shadow of person inside the toilet which is so annoy. or would you please close it with curtain, please???? so the one who prays won't be distracted by the shadow of other customers.
hopefully those could improve your cleanliness and...
