Service is really bad. Sound system is too loud and piercing to ears, so it’s very difficult to talk with each other, and even more difficult to tell our food orders to the waiters. None of the staffs are informative and accommodative to the many guests, they also don’t seem to communicate very well within their own team. The system for open table and minimum charge is not clear, especially since the staff suddenly want to close our bill. After I asked why the staff didn’t explain from the start about the regulations of open bill, the staff was defensive and responded me in a condescending manner instead of providing positive solutions.

Now, about reviewing the food. Taste-wise, it is not consistent and not praiseworthy. The orders from my table kept getting delayed without any clear reason, one of us even got food after waiting for almost 2 hours. My own food, Spaghetti Miso, arrived with unmixed seasonings, bland and very cold. Which is super weird, since other people’s food arrived steaming hot, and made us assume that the waiter forgot my food in the kitchen. Some of our food taste ok, but most of our plates does not taste good enough to balance our disappointment. When I haven’t finished eating, one of the waiters even tried to take away my bowl too. Later, when I order Mie Ngehe, it came out way too salty. Not long after that, a staff member scolded me for bringing my own bottled water, but that bottle is already empty and was already on the table for hours.

Chairs are not enough. Parking space is also too small without clear valet services.

Food price here is quite affordable, but don’t expect too much in terms of taste. Although not bad, the food that I ordered were just okay and the portion is on the smaller side. You would have to get sides along with your mains otherwise you won’t fill your stomach.

Food took some time to be served even though the place was empty. It took about 20 mins for the food to arrive, but after about 30 mins, I decided to ask why one of the dishes I ordered still hasn’t been served. And apparently, the staff found out that it wasn’t even being prepared by the kitchen. Not sure what happened because you have to pay first before they make the dish so it definitely had already been registered into their system. It ended up taking 45 mins for that order to come out.

The restaurant’s interior is actually quite nice and spacious, but on a Saturday afternoon the place is quite empty and the AC wasn’t all turned on so it was kind of uncomfortably hot inside with the high ceilings and big windows. Pleasantly surprised with the quality of food here. We visit unplanned looking for the closest dinner available and choose this spot randomly. As for the drinks, can't say much since we only order iced teas. Please do note that the ratings are based on comparison to similar "modern warung" establishments.

Iga Penyet (IDR 37.000) Tender well seasoned reasonably sized fried ribs. The sambal gives a hint of sourness that lift up the taste. You also got kol goreng on the side.

Namh Jim (IDR 42.000) Thai style beef stir fry on rice and sunny side egg. Instead of ground beef they used sliced yoshinoya style ones. Again pleasantly surprise with the portions and seasoning. It may not be authentic thai, but it taste good.

Fish and Chips (IDR 34.000) Nothing really special but nothing wrong with it too. Specially at that price points.
