First, the coffee. The americano is not to my liking. The body is there, the bitterness is there but the acidity is muted and the aroma is dull. But when it comes to their signature coffee blend (i tried the one with mango) the coffee shines. I guess their espresso blend is meant to be used as a base for sweetened drinks.
The cafe latte is good. Even though it's still the same base but with good espresso machine and good fresh milk as well with a skillful barista the result is a very crisp, sweet and pleasant latte. Unfortunately the coffee bar lacks single origin manually brewed coffee. Too bad.
The foods are very nice. We tried the triple burger and chicken something from the snack menu and they were wonderful. For the main course we tried the Rawon; a well-known dish from Eastern Java. The soup was refreshing, the herbs were flavorful but not overpowering. The meat was soft with smooth texture. A pleasant main course.
The place itself is nicely set and decorated. With green vegetations and a koi pond outside it is almost a refuge from dusty and hot humid air from the surroundings.

I noticed the table next to mine still hadent been cleared since before i arrived. The waiter was unfamiliar with the menu and pointed to the kids menu when i asked for pasta.

Read moreA nice cute restaurant at Veranda Residence (just beside their Lobby). Feels and decor like a brunch spot, tons of lights coming in with dominant white tone. Coffee and food here are decent.
I ordered their Nasi Goreng Petai with huge prawns and cracker served with sambal and pickles. It was great and balanced with a wok hey flavor. Tried Tahu Gejrot (Cirebon’s street food) for appetizer, it was awesoms, the sourness, sweet and kick from raw shallots, chilies and garlic were nice. Kudos on food presentation also.
The place wasn’t too busy which is nice for a lunch meet and coffee break. I’ll try their other menu next time I...
