Yakiniku Like Kota Kasablanka — Restaurant in Jakarta

We visited the restaurant on a weekday for an office group lunch and were extremely disappointed with the experience. We had to wait over an hour just to receive our order and this is at a grill restaurant where customers cook the meat themselves. The delay was very frustrating, especially since the food was raw, and we still needed at least another hour to grill and eat it.

What made it worse was the lack of communication. There was no prior notice or explanation from the staff about the delay, and all we were repeatedly told was that the order was “in process.” There was also no apology or compensation offered for the inconvenience.

In total, we ended up spending more than 2 hours just for lunch which is unreasonable for a weekday, especially during working hours. On top of that, we were served the wrong items multiple times.

I’ve visited this branch several times before, but this experience was particularly stressful and disappointing. It left a bad impression on the whole group, and unfortunately, we won’t be recommending this...

Visited this place during Ramadhan after going to the Bintaro Exchange 2 branch two days ago. I arrived before 5pm, put my name on the list, and waited an hour. When my name was called, the waitress gave me a QR code, but after mentioning my TikTok voucher, she said I had to wait again since they prioritized those who ordered through their QR code. I asked for an estimated wait time and waited another hour.

I stood less than two meters from the store (right in front of the store display), not distracted, yet my name was skipped. When I checked, the waitress insisted she had called me three times again, which was impossible since I was right there waiting my name to be called again, so bad. Was this poor service because I came alone? I ended up leaving without getting a table. I had planned to bring friends here, but after this experience, I’m having second thoughts. I have been a regular customer at Yakiniku Like branches. I just love how you can customize every combination of sauce and type of meat to grill on personal griller right in front of you. Eat with your own pace, taste every slice of meat slowly. I ordered 1 set of Trio, consists of Rossu, Karubi and Tounge, 1 set of Karubi 200gr with Yuzu ice-cream. You can choose from 100-250gr of rice as part of the set and either Kimchi or Salad on the side. Food is 9 of 10. You must try their Karage Chicken, this tastes different and much bigger/hot/crispier than the ones you can get from the set add-ons.
