Amed Beach Resort & Teatro Bar — Restaurant in Kecamatan Abang

I must strongly advise against this establishment: a place to be absolutely avoided. From the moment we arrived from the airport, we were met with glaring disorganization. Our reception had clearly not been anticipated, forcing us to wait in the lobby after an exhausting journey. We had booked what was described as their "luxury" room, boasting an unobstructed view of the pool and seafront. The reality was a bitter disappointment: not only did the room bear no resemblance to the advertised images, but it was also in a lamentable state of cleanliness and maintenance, especially the bathroom. But the worst was yet to come. The behavior of the staff is unworthy of an establishment claiming to be of quality. Pretending to act as guides, they try to steer you towards overpriced establishments in Amed to receive hidden commissions. A blatant scam. To top it off, their dishonesty borders on insolence. An employee claimed to have coordinated our transfer with the hotel in Ubud where we had planned to stay, exposing us to the risk of paying twice for the same taxi service. A nightmarish experience. For those considering a stay in Amed, I am convinced there are far more worthy and honest alternatives. I emphasize it strongly: avoid this place...

The staff is extremely unfriendly, waited for my dinner (pizza) for almost an hour even tho I was the only client there, when they rang the bell from the kitchen that the food is ready the waiters didn’t even bother to go there for another 10 min, the fresh juice was extremely watery. On top of all that they charge you hidden charges at the end, it’s not mentioned anywhere but they make up some service fee and tax, no wonder the staff doesn’t care as they charge you so much extra for their “tip” which they wouldn’t get otherwise with the way they serve you. Only the location is nice but that doesn’t justify going there, as everywhere else in Bali they will serve you with a smile. Absolutely not recommend, go ANYWHERE else where you don’t pay crazy price with their hidden...

Not the first choice in Amed, for sure. Service is untypical for Bali, far away from the warmth and smiling attitude normally seen here. Food was ok, but nothing special, fries arrived lukewarm, no ketchup served. Disappointing to say the least was the fact that Fish & chips, listed in the menu with 70k, were then all of a sudden 80k on the bill. Questions about this fact were handled rather poorly ("we always do like this, it's tax", "new price" etc), even though 15% tax were then billed additionally. To sum it up: rather go to one of the countless warungs, were service is far nicer, prices are what they are and service personnel does not give the impression of being bothered by...
