Well, I've visited Vincent's. A table was booked beforehand as the restaurant is in high demand. Every Thursday and Saturday you can listen to jazz and live music performance on a grand piano. I would give 5* for the atmosphere but I can't. The music and singing is a bit loud, so it's difficult to communicate. Moreover, it's too dark and I had to use my smartphone's torch to read a menu. The service is OK, nothing special, ust polite. The food is also nothing special, just tasty and that's all. When I saw the prices in the menu I expected something really mouthwatering. No, just usual dishes and boring presentation. The grilled fish, steamed vegetables and fried potatoes. There was mustard sauce but I didn't find the taste of mustard. The dinner started with some bread and ... garlic mayo. What?! Yes, not garlic butter. Is that fusion cuisine? Aperol Spritz was just half of the wineglass (surprisingly little) and, according to the taste, didn't have prosecco at all. All in all, it was a usual dinner for high price. If you want to relax and listen to live music, come, take a coffee and eat somewhere else.

A gorgeous restaurant in the small town of Candidasa on Bali’s east coast. Monday & Thursday nights are live jazz music; we dine at the start of the week and are greeted warmly on the street and shown to our table outside under the gently swaying palms and stars above. Candlelit table is your choice inside or alfresco… we choose outside and start with a pre-dinner cocktail, which like all cocktails from our experiences in Bali is delicious & strong! We share starters of cheese croquet and mushroom crostini, which are both crunchy, delicious and are accompanied with fresh salad leaves & edible flowers. For our mains we take the advantage on the good price for steak and have the beef tenderloin, which is a perfectly cooked medium rare, served with fries and veggies with garlic butter for him and mushroom sauce for me. Paired with a bottle of NZ Pinot Gris, we are delightfully full and enjoy chatting with our lovely waiter Kadek and relaxing as the sounds of jazz piano and nighttime jungle echo around us. Highly recommended.

We wish we would have known about jazz nights earlier because we didn’t stay in the area on a Saturday! Super bummed but still super happy about getting to experience this iconic place in Candidasa. The place is well known for yummy food and gives you variety if you don’t want to have Indonesian food. The service overall was quite nice with the waiters being extra attentive. The restaurant also sent a private car to pick us up from our hotel and drop us off as well! Super nice touch especially since it was raining. We were served some complimentary warm bread and a cheese puff which was super yummy. We ordered a few beers along with the Chicken Gordon Bleu and Weiner Schnitzel which were both quite nice. In terms of price, it is about 3x pricier than the local warnings, but you’re definitely paying more for the quality of food and service. Definitively a great place to have a meal for a special night! Highly recommended for those visiting Candidasa.

Vincent's is a world class restaurant; the service, atmosphere, location, dining experience and most importantly food are of the highest order, so much so that we visited twice in as many nights. The first night I had the wagyu tenderloin (fillet) which was juicy, flavourful, cooked and presented perfectly! The second night I had the 5 spice duck breast which again was faultless. The deserts also were extremely special, I am not a huge desert person but these were something to admire! I had the white chocolate mousse cylinder and my partner the tiramisu flower pot both of which were incredible and looked like something from a masterchef challenge. I can not speak highly enough about this restaurant! I would also like to add that they're signature cocktail, the Vincent as well as the whiskey sour, are also exceptionally well blended. 5 stars in every way.

Come here for the back garden area, it is lovely! The service was wonderful and the food was good. I wasn’t blown away with the flavours of the food but it was still enjoyable. We ordered the following: Green papaya salad: not traditional in any way, the dressing was more like a western salad dressing and far too sweet for me. Didn’t have the tang that a traditional one does. 5 Spice duck: this was good, no complaints and what was expected. Miso Cod: my partner seemed to enjoy this dish Lemon dessert: so this one was contentious, I was not a fan of the flavours but my partner like it. The tempered white chocolate was thin but lacked a nice white chocolate flavour and something about the cream/Icecream didn’t seem quite right. However incredible presentation! All in all, come here for a nice atmosphere and some decent food. Thanks Vincent’s

What a fantastic dinner. Came here with my wife and two children. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They don’t have a kids menu but the waiter said the he could share a main course on two plates for the children. The kids had a great Chicken Gordon Bleu and we had the tenderloin steak. The steak was cooked to perfection and I think one of the greatest steaks I ever had. We also had to great starters Crab poppers and the salmon. Both very nice as well. We got a “real” gin and tonic with Tanqueray, which has been hard to find in Bali. All in all we had drinks and food for 1.200.000 IDR which was truly a bargain. Sadly we are leaving Candidasa now so won’t be able to go back. They have table out back in the garden which was so lovely with nice views to the sky and palm trees.
