Sate Khas Senayan, Summarecon Mall Serpong — Restaurant in Kelapa Dua

Foods are really great and it’s my favorite Indonesian restaurant! However, I was so disappointed with the service in this Sumarecon Serpong Mall branch. I went there on Monday with two other people and the tables are half occupied so it was busy. But I don’t think it’s a good excuse to made me wait for almost 40 minutes only for all the food to be served on my table...... It’s quite strange that they served the sate pretty quick, but not with the rice, ice tea, and even forks or spoons... We needed to wait for Kangkung and Tahu Telor for almost 20 minutes (the sate almost cold by the time the food came). I also felt disappointed that they serve tahu telor which almost cold. The staff said that there aren’t many people who work in the kitchen so it took a long time to serve. At least, the food quality was still excellent. Hopefully the management...

I was lied to by this restaurant.

When I was ordering food, my sister asked if there were any promos or discounts available. The waiter advertised a 50k voucher for first time customers with a minimum purchase of 150k, so I ordered my food amounting to 186k in the expectation that I will be able to use that voucher.

When it was time to pay, the cashier suddenly told me that the minimum purchase is 250k, and the 150k voucher is only for their branch in Senayan, which means that I have to pay the full 186k. I don't know if this is malice on their part, or sheer incompetence from their management, but having to pay more than what I was expecting for what is honestly mediocre food left a sour taste in my mouth.

Hr ini datang ke sate senayan SMS sangat sangat mengecewakan. Kami datang sekeluarga karena ingin makan lontong cap gomeh, bersamaan hr ini merayakan perayaan tersebut. Utk memastikan menu tersebut ada, sy sdh tanyakan dulu sejak awal bahkan sebelum kami duduk. Ujar si pelayan “masih ada banyak bu lontong cap gomehnya”. Duduk lah kami memesan makanan, 2 di antaranya adalah si lontong hits ini. Sambil memesan dr pelayan kedua (berbeda dg pelayan yg di depan), ia berujar “bu lontong kami masih ada tp sayurnya sudah habis ya bu”. Kami melongo, bingung hrs berkata2. Lalu kenapa masih dijuaaaal??? Jawab si pelayan: “maaf bu soalnya kami ramai sejak siang tadi, krn menunya ini lontong cap gomeh special imlek. Lontong cap gomeh yg biasa kami tdk jual. Whaaaatttt?!!! Lantas krn isinya tdk komplit menjadi alasan utk anda tetap menjual menu ini??? Apa yg dimaksud spesial ini apakah “spesial dg menu yg tidak lengkap tp dg harga yg jauh dilambungkan tinggi???!!” Anyway sodara2, hrg lontong ini ternyata 149ribu rupiah saja dg isi yg tidak komplit itu. Kami lanjut memesan menu lain: tahu telor. “Ada bu, tp bakwan udangnya kami sdh habis” (fyi, bakwan udang ini yg bikin enak dan tentu yg bikin hrgnya lebih berbobot). Lantas kl si bakwan udannya habis (again) knapaa anda masih menjual menu yg tdk ada isinya secara lengkap??!! Kami menunggu semua menu keluar selama 1.5 jam lamanya, dg dijanjikannya menu keluar selama 45 menit. Mohon maaf, resto cabang SMS ini terhitung lebih kecil dibandingkan cabang2 lainnya yg pernah sy kunjungi: MTA, CP, Cideng. Disana selalu ramai sekali dan tetap menunjukkan pelayanan prima. Sy ga paham sama sekali pelayanan di sini sungguh minus dg level/kelas resto dg hrg pricy seperti Sate Senayan. Total kami hrs menunggu makanan datang jd 2.5 jam disana, krn makanan jg datang tidak bersamaan anyway.

Sungguh2 mengecewakan! Tdk ada penanganan atau pun upaya sopan santun utk menenangkan ataupun memperbaiki situasi...
