Udon has been always one of my favorite foods. To me, Marugame udon is being a top of mind when it comes to Udon. A few years ago, I felt that the Udon served at this branch was extraordinary. Both taste and texture were top notch. However, these have been changed drastically during my last visit to this branch. I was totally disappointed with their udon as it was not like any Udon I have ever tasted, it was more similar to big noodles or "kwetiau". That was weird for a Japanese restaurant whereby it should have the highest accuracies and precisions in quality. Moreover the overall taste was terrible compared to a few years ago. This time I reviewed Niku Udon, and also tried the new menu Kotteri Tori Baitan Udon. As always, the udon is delicious, the broth is delicious, the meat is tender and delicious.
