Marugame Udon, Summarecon Mall Serpong, Lantai 2 — Restaurant in Kelapa Dua

Udon has been always one of my favorite foods. To me, Marugame udon is being a top of mind when it comes to Udon. A few years ago, I felt that the Udon served at this branch was extraordinary. Both taste and texture were top notch. However, these have been changed drastically during my last visit to this branch. I was totally disappointed with their udon as it was not like any Udon I have ever tasted, it was more similar to big noodles or "kwetiau". That was weird for a Japanese restaurant whereby it should have the highest accuracies and precisions in quality. Moreover the overall taste was terrible compared to a few years ago. It was also over cooked. It might be quality control issues. I would strongly suggest that the management should care about their foods' quality more seriously. I often eat at Marugame Udon. Every time I miss udon, Marugame is one of my choices.

This time I reviewed Niku Udon, and also tried the new menu Kotteri Tori Baitan Udon. As always, the udon is delicious, the broth is delicious, the meat is tender and delicious.

Plus free flow ocha tea, and extra sesame, green onion, chili, ginger etc. accordingly to your own taste.
