My dad grew up in Magelang, so we often visit this lovely city. If there’s one place that we never miss during each visit, it’s definitely Es Murni!

Love the “jadoel” (old school) vibes that stayed the same for decades until now. I love how they stay true with old school vibes and cuisine.

The food is amazing. It feels like home cooked meals every time. Comfort and enjoyable. You have to order Sop Gulung, its their signature soup, not the fancy kind.

My favorite is the Es Roti Coklat, a simple dessert consist of shaved ice, old school bread, santan, milk and chocolate sauce. Simply delicious!

Was here couple days ago. As this is a small city, the place wasn't that crowded even at lunch time.

I came with my friends and ordered some dishes. I expected the taste would be authentic but unfortunately the taste wasn't that strong and nothing really special. But the price was superly cheap. Here the list of our order: Nasi Timlo (3.5/5) Soto Betawi (4/5) Bakso Special (4/5) Batagor - Siomay (3.5/5) Es Murni (we actually forgot the name) (4/5)
