If I could give this zero stars I would. This used to be one of my favorite spots to visit in Bali. However, today was a complete disappointment. Ordered tacos and gua bao and the moment the tacos arrived, I noticed how shrinked the portion had become. A bunch of vegetables layered underneath two tiny pieces of fish.
I had a photo of the same taco ordered a week ago, which had a much more reasonable amount of fish (as you can see the before and after attached). Not only that, today, the taco shells were super hard, almost inedible. The gua bao was also cold and half of it was soggy while the other was so hard I had to peel off some of the skin.
We called on a male waiter over to show a photo of what it looked like last week and today, and not only did he not apologize, he proceeded to tell us that “the fish shrunk a bit”. We were in shock. Anyone with eyes could see the difference between the portion size from last week and today. How can this fish shrink the way it did 😂
He then took it back to the kitchen and came out a minute later only to still give us the same excuse.
We decided to let it be. It was EXPENSIVE for this disappointment so we still tried our best to finish the food.
Of course we still ended up paying. Unfortunately, we will NEVER be coming back here. A shame because the...
Read moreIt is very beautiful and pleasant to be here. I wish good luck to the institution, and I would like it to attract customers, but after all the details have been fixed and finalized. And there are a lot of them. There are two waiters in the room, and one of them doesn't speak or even understand English. I showed the word piccolo on the menu, but they brought me macchiato. Apparently, even pointing a finger at the menu is difficult for them. On the second floor is the collaboration room. People are laughing at the top of their lungs, there is no music in the room, so I have to listen to the laughter of the local workers. The portions are small, I ordered the pasta here in the picture. Only ate a couple of shrimp on top. Arabiata doesn't look normal at all, dry and not great. Carbonara ordered to take away but decided to eat it right there, the portion is also small but the pasta itself is tasty. The room is cool, large, upholstered furniture, parking, beautiful interior. I'm sure it could be a cool place, but for now 3 points with a stretch. Will be back in a month or so, hopefully something will change. And if it doesn't, I think they'll get tired of it to recoup the...
Read moreMy rating is what it is because while this cafe is really huge and comfortable, with two floors and spacious areas, we won't be returning for several reasons: The prices are excessively high for the quality of food they offer. The quality is what you'd be served at any standard Warung, and the prices for both food and drinks are very high for this level.
The restaurant is usually quite empty, which means the staff gets bored. They constantly shout, play with each other, make noise, laugh loudly, and watch videos on their phones with the volume turned up to kill time. They even play tag in the kitchen and in the outdoor smoking area. It's understandable that they get bored since there are more employees than customers, and I also understand why this place isn't busier for its size. Despite this, I have to say that all the staff are always very friendly in their dealings with customers.
The internet speed is quite slow and intermittent, which makes it not the best place to work.
For all these reasons, we won't be back and I cannot recommend it. Please read this review as constructive criticism for future...
