The hotel is in a quiet area near Udayana University, with a beautiful outdoor space, and the staff, especially Holly, was super kind and welcoming. Nevertheless I had many problems during my 1 month stay. On my very first day, I saw six cockroaches in the hallway and tiny bugs in my room: on the bed, closet, and table. I was told the cleaning staff would remove the little bugs in my room, but when I returned, nothing had changed. A few days later, the room started to smell moldy, and after a few weeks, I found mold on all my clothes, in every suitcase and bag, everywhere. When I brought this up, I got informed that the hotel doesn’t provide anything to deal with humidity or mold, and switching rooms would cost me extra. Instead, they gave me a pack of camphor (a bug repellent), against the mold. I didn’t feel taken seriously at this point. The shared kitchen and bathroom were barely cleaned, especially the bathroom was left dirty for weeks, with clogged drains, foul smells, and dirty toilets. Working in my room was also impossible. Daily construction noise on the hotel property outside, thin walls, and constant disruptions made it hard to focus. When I asked for a quieter place, I was told to use the terrace or rooftop, which are too noisy, without AC, poor Wi‑Fi, no power outlets. When I informed staff that terrace and rooftop are not suitable alternatives for me, my message was ignored. Only after I got very serious about the situation, the staff allowed me to use a quiet room for a few hours. I’m usually not someone with high expectations when it comes to hotels, but this was just too much. Too many problems and the hotel did not take responsibility, so I had to deal with those very serious problems on my own. I can’t recommend staying here, especially...
Read moreI would definitely recommend staying here if you want to be in the area.
Room was big and had a private shower with a shared kitchen / dining area and toilet down the hall. There were only a couple of other rooms (that I could see) that were using the shared spaces.
Staff were really friendly - especially Bimo & Dinda. On more than one occasion they were able to help me with change for my grab drivers.
I picked this place because it was a lot cheaper than staying in the east or the west of the peninsula, and I wanted a base to explore the whole area from. Location was great for reaching both sides easily. I didn’t hire a scooter so took grab bikes everywhere, which worked out about the same price as I was travelling solo.
It was very easy to get transport, but most beaches etc were a 20-30 minute ride away. There is a good Warung that is a couple of minutes walk away, but besides that there is nothing in the immediate area.
I stayed here for 4 nights, but in hindsight I would have stayed for 3 only because there isn’t much to do in the area besides...
Read moreOur stay was ok here.
The room is cozy and clean, but the shared toilet was not comfortable -is stuffy, not well maintained and had some dirt typical from a shared bathroom in a hostel.
The description is accurate, there are several mini apartments, each one with shared kitchen, toilet and dining area, so 3 rooms to share that.
The common spaces are nice, a bit cluttered but chill area with pool and a lot of sitting spaces.
The location is good to explore the area but the road to access the house is horrible, broken road with big stones which makes driving hard for a couple of 150m stretches. Nice terrace and fast WiFi. Several tables and working spaces.
I did not dislike the stay but for the price paid I believe there are better options (mostly with private bathroom better maintained). Is not a bad place and you can stay for a couple of days but personally I...
