Bali Bakery Kuta — Restaurant in Kuta

Previously I bought a red velvet cake and my wife ate it the next morning after the purchase and the cake was stale. I complained that it was replaced with a new one. I didn't expect the service to check the cake's must have quality control. I took it to the store and the store said it was stale, they change for me. And 2 days ago we ordered another cake for my guest. The initial order was on November 4th. But I knew the guest would have a party yesterday so I texted Bali Bakery to change it to tomorrow. Which means after my order was chatted it was picked up yesterday. And it turned out that the cake was not ready after I contacted them. I was very surprised. And after I was not happy they said okay the cake is ready soon and will be sent. Previously I wanted to pick it up immediately. But yes I couldn't tell my guest to wait for 30 minutes. I had to find an extra driver to pick up the cake. I was angry they apologized. And I was surprised what did they want? I said I am a customer shopping at your place. I shop means I pay. And that you must provide me with service according to the order and good quality. And my order was in Indonesian. And you can't understand the local language. So what language should we communicate in? I just ask you to improve your performance. They give me compensation...

I heard about the croissants here they seemed pretty popular so I decided to make a visit here. I was wondering if I should dine in here but eventually decided to takeaway the pastries instead. I was wondering if the pastries would still taste nice the next morning but the main reason I wanted to was to pack some breakfast for my diving trip the next day. I only bought 2 items, one definitely has to be a croissant and the other was one of the top items which was recommended by the staff, the curry pan. I would say the pastries still tasted very good the next day, even I didn't have a microwave to heat it up. Bread was still fresh and soft, I enjoyed both the savoury and the sweet notes from the 2 pastries and thought it was quite satisfying. Maybe next time when I feel hungry will visit there and sit there for tea. The environment is not too bad it looks a bit weird though, there are 2 areas one which is dark furniture and the area looks dimmer and the other is brighter and lighter coloured furniture. This cafe is the most fav cafe for Me and my husband. Cafe always full everyday. I love the tom yum seafood. Everytime i am not feeling well, i knew thatbi should come here to get tom yum seafood as it kind of healing food. Food quality are good, staff are friendly. Al the dessert on display are soo inviting. It has aircon atea and smoking area. I have member card, so I can get discount here and from other Bali bakery outlets. This cafe also do catering for wedding. Lots of my client choose them for the wedding. The location also easy to find. I knew the owner. He is very good taking care of his health. Only consume helathy food and always recommend me to get steam food from his selection menu. No wonder all food here cook in a certain way.
