The Restaurent is in bad condition. The entrance is good, however the worn and torn out of the place is very visible. Toilet it self is not clean and has a very bad smell. The staff who attended seems like he is very new and did his part well. Coffee we ordered was very bad. One Americano and one flat white I ordered first. Later I ordered one more americano as the first one tasted like a black tea. The two sirnike , classic and with spinach was quite poor compared to what I aet in many other places. Then was the oats bowl was tasteless. Then Oliver salad ,dumplings and one pancake with cheese and one oreschki which I ordered was not at all tasty. I do not prefer to talk about bad things so I paid and left. However I went to this place from a long distance trip and read the review of it before went. They do offer 10 discount on total bill if you give a review. Ofocurse then on the spot you would not give a bad review. I hope they...

Unfortunately, we were really disappointed. The food wasn’t tasty at all. We ordered the Salad Olivie and the chicken pelmeni. Usually, the portion sizes are similar, and we’ve never been disappointed with Russian food so far — but this time it was really unpleasant. We can’t even say exactly what was wrong with the salad, but it didn’t taste like Olivie at all. Same with the pelmeni — and on top of that, you even had to pay extra for the sour cream!
Considering the high price, the quality was really disappointing.
The only really good thing was the staff — they were lovely, and you get free water. But unfortunately, you come for the food, and that just didn’t deliver. So it’s one star from us, only because of the staff.
P.S. We can only explain the good reviews by the fact that you get a free cake if you write one — just our suggestion, but otherwise we really don’t...
Read moreReview for My Place Cafe (Russian Home Cuisine, 24/7) I usually leave positive reviews, but unfortunately this time I need to share my disappointment. We clearly mentioned several times that we are both vegans, yet the staff still brought okroshka without kvass. After waiting about 7 minutes with no update, we were told there was no kvass at all, and instead they offered kefir — which is a dairy product and not suitable for vegans. It seemed the staff didn’t really understand what “vegan” means or how dietary restrictions work. Later, vareniki were served, but sadly they were not tasty — clearly frozen, watery, and lacking in flavor. I’m writing this not just to complain, but in the hope that the cafe can improve food quality and staff awareness about vegan and dietary needs. The food really wasn’t enjoyable this time, which is disappointing because I normally appreciate and support...
