Nasi Pedas Ibu Andika — Restaurant in Kuta

I visited Nasi Pedas Ibu Andika on January 19, 2023. I hope this review is still relevant when I upload it.

When I was in Kuta, I was looking for spicy food and stumbled upon Nasi Pedas Ibu Andika. The photos on Google Maps looked appetising. However, when I arrived, I felt a bit uncomfortable with the place because there was no specific menu with prices, making it difficult for me to gauge how much and what I would get. In the end, I tried two items: chicken and sweet fries, along with their signature sambal.

The food tasted good, but the chicken was a bit disappointing. I really enjoyed the flavorful sambal and the sweet fries, but it was a shame that the restaurant did not have AC and was not enclosed. When the spiciness got too intense, everything felt hot and uncomfortable.

Overall, I wouldn't go back unless someone invited me. Or if I do return, I'll try another branch of Nasi...

The taste is not suitable for me, i'm expected it to be real tasty and their sambal is not spicy 😢 we got this resto theme in jakarta named 'little ubud' serve way better foods. I was hoping when i visited 'the real one' it should be way more good than but nah i'm wrong. Also the place is not really clean , i mean the place is huge and they serve a lot choices of food, maybe if the management can do keep the place clean i wont bother to come again, because the food is not really bad, it's just not like what i expected but they got name already, i am willing to come back if the place is...

All foods here serves padang-style where you point on which foods do you want to add to your individual plate of rice. Good improvement for allowing us have less portion of rice. I always go here for some cheat day and whack my usual diet. Most of the time, the favourite here, is the chicken skin, the sambal (of course, the more the merrier), salty fish, fried chicken and if you like chicken colons, all my friends recommend that. Warning, if you easily spooked by the place cleanliness, prepare yourself before you go here. As far as a warung goes, this quite clean. But still,...
