The food at The Oswego Bar is some of the best we’ve tried during our time in Bali. With a wide variety of options, each dish was prepared with incredible attention to detail and bursting with fresh, local flavors. From perfectly cooked meats to creative vegetarian dishes, every bite was a true testament to the chef’s skill. The presentation was stunning, and the taste exceeded every expectation. You could tell that the ingredients were of the highest quality and thoughtfully combined.

However, what truly made our experience memorable was the outstanding service. Dedi, Made, Wayan, Diana, and Ketut went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. Their attentiveness, warmth, and genuine care made us feel like VIPs. They anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, offering personalized recommendations and always with a smile. It's rare to encounter a team so dedicated to making every guest feel special, and these five exemplified that in every interaction.

Horrible food. Would never go back.

I have no idea why there are so many good reviews for this place.

Went to the restaurant at 9:30 and it was completely empty with only 1 table (with a couple) seated.

We ordered 2 portions of their lamb chops which cost 300k each. They only give 2 pieces so I expected the food to be amazing. It fell so short of my expectations. It was extremely disappointing.

The quality of the meat is the worst I have ever had the misfortune of trying. It was covered in fat. There was only 2 small forkfuls of meat on each lamb chop. My other half’s portion was much worse as only one piece was actually edible. The other piece was made of fat and bone entirely.

As for the taste and flavour of the chops, they were also lacking. It had a horrible smell and taste of meat, like the chops hadn’t been washed and cooked properly. The chef obviously isn’t aware of seasoning hence the lack in flavour.

We informed the waitress of the issue of the meat and she spoke to the chef but said there was nothing they could do.

The chops also came with mashed potato but again that was so disappointing. It tasted like the ready made mashed potato you find in supermarkets.

The bill with drinks was 900k which is about £45 which is very expensive for Bali.

To spend 450k per meal and to only get 4 small forkfuls of meat and shop bought mash is ridiculous and unacceptable.

The service was impeccable—attentive without being intrusive. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and happy to provide recommendations, making us feel well taken care of throughout the evening.

The restaurant’s decor and atmosphere also deserve special mention. Whether you’re here for a romantic dinner, a family celebration, or a casual meal with friends, the ambiance strikes the perfect balance between cozy and elegant.
