Me and my husband were really excited to visit this place as we're true Mexican food lovers. Based on previous reviews, we figured it's going to be a great experience. Unfortunately, it was anything but.
As we arrived at the restaurant, they didn't have any available tables and we, along with quite a few other people, had to wait for an indefinite time. I realise we should've made reservations so that was on us, however they gave us a ransom wait time which turned out to be much longer.
Once we finally got a table, we'd been waiting for menues gor a looong time, till we decided to just get them ourselves. It took another obscene amouny of time to be able to put an order in, although there were a lot of severs and the restaurant itself is quite small. We waited for our margaritas for well over 20 minutes until my husband decided to check if anyone was ever going to actually make them. Once we finally got them, they were of very poor quality and my frozen one was just basically done on the rocks with minimal blending.
We ordered two tacos, and since we had waited for over 20 minutes for those (again - it's a small restaurant with only a few tables), after 3 attempts I managed to order s queso from the starters, hoping this would come a bit faster to hold us off until the tacos came. Around 10 minutes later I received what they called was a queso (no tacos still), but what was actually something that just looked like cheese out of a can and definitely not queso. We sent the "queso" back since it was not appetising at all and continued to wait and enquire about our tacos. When we finally got them, they actually tasted decently, but by no means were they worth the 40 minute wait. By that time we had interacted with a few other guests as well, who had been there well before us, but had still not even got their drinks.
To salvage the night (after we were treated incredibly rude by one of the servers when we asked for the check), we headed on to another Mexican place, which luckily fully hit the spot. All in all, I would absolutely not recommend visiting this place. There are many way better...

Okay, let me detailed with the good👍👏 impression first: ✅Good friendly staff ✅Good food presentation (except for the nachos, was extremely below my expectation) ✅the $2++ , Rp.25K++ one taco was much better than the meal i ordered from their main menu ✅Great taste of the roasted pumpkin & couscous $2++ one taco, abit sweet from the apple sauce but it blended well with the other ingredients, so highly recommended.
Not soo impressive 🙄😏👎 ❌Indoor sitting was not cool, even with 3 ❌AC on, and with a big fan on top of the door that supposedly to keep the flies away, i had fly visitor tried to get on my food. ❌They really need to get a new menu instead of putting a sticker note to replace / add the old menu ❌The food taste was average for my taste, more of a fusion kinda mexican (inspired) food, and one of the salsa taste was a lil too sweet for my taste (or should i say, too indonesian?! We do put too much sugar on everything 😂) ❌ ah rite, they won't even gave me a new set of cutleries, took the used one from my leftiver plate, put it on the saucer plate. And i ordered a second meal!! Gee.. a restaurant or warung? ❌ the way they plating the nachos was sooo bad, small bowl, just dump all the tortillas, gratted mozzarella, and heated it on the oven too little, the mozzarella was not well melted, so i ended up chewing a gunk of not so melted mozzarella at the end. Hey.. I am a Nachos fanatic, so i hate seeing Nachos made so awful like that 🙄 ❌The iron ring on the bottle sauce needs replacement, despite being dirty and shabby, also rusty looking thing which in food industry is also not hygienic. ❌2.5% surcharge for credit card payment?! Hellow.. There is a rule that it is prohibited, but oh well.. cash is king so okay lah..
For the price i paid, i will just go to a real mexican resto the nextime i feel like eating...
Read moreTHERE ARE RATS IN THE RESTAURANT, CRAWLING AROUND THE FLOOR Saw good reviews of this restaurant so decided to give it a go. Looked questionable from the outside and was completely empty but we still had hope. After being sat down and having a starter we saw something moving under the table and then my friend felt something on her foot…it was a rat crawling under the table. We were in complete shock and of course lifted our feet onto the chairs, we alerted the server and she seemed to be completely unfazed, laughed it off and then told us to keep our feet up (she then offered to move us to another table). A man then came and swept it up and that was it. We gave them the benefit of the doubt as we understand it is not the servers fault. At the end of the meal we were asked how it all was and we said well there was a rat and we were given no apology or offered any kind of compensation, to which the woman replied that it is not her responsibility and she didn’t understand what we wanted her to do and even question whether if not we were owed an apology. We explained that we weren’t really comfortable paying for the entire bill and she then explained that this is unfair on her as her boss would take it out of her pay check, as if this was our fault. I told her that I understand it is not her fault and I would like to speak to the manager, she refused. I have photos to attach but it is not letting me. A response from the restaurant/manager would be...
