Okamura Bali — Restaurant in Pulau Bali

Been a very loyal cust at Okamura, even promote them to all of my friends to come and try it.

Yesterday i came and order my usual Spicy Agedashi Tofu. This is the first time i felt disappointed and complain because the tofu taste weird. I was never a “complain” person, i even asked 3 of my friend to taste it before they suggest me to protest and ask for change.

They brought me a new one, and the 2 of the tofu it’s fine. So i think that’s it—end of story. But suddenly the owner (idk the wife maybe), came and ask “Is the tofu okay” and we said yes. I thought it was just for QC, but then suddenly she came for defenses and said “Ah ok, it’s actually the same tofu as the one we returned”. Well we still kept positive thoughts maybe they used the square one and there are the same batch, but hearing that make us think that they doubts our complain or just want us to still pays (we did pay ofc, we could afford it)

What’s worse is the last tofu (they have 3 tofu) is still sour. I think it has bad quality. And i got bad stomachache in the morning (the tofu is the last thing i ate because i’m doing intermittent fasting).

I didn’t expect to get free food, but still as customer i deserve a great quality food. The owner is also not quite good at asking for...

went here with a friend. service was good and most importantly the food!! best salmon sashimi i have ever tasted (in Bali, for now). here's the food that i ordered with ratings:

-Salmon fuji set ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ salmon was fresh, sushi rice was seasoned perfectly -Salmon Maki⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ nice clean tasting salmon, very good fish to rice ratio -Prawn Nigiri⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ prawn was big, very thick meat -Spicy Tuna Don⭐⭐⭐⭐ just like the name said it was spicy, it's good though -Gyoza, grilled⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ this was really good, it was juicy. lots of meat inside -Takoyaki⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ made fresh, crispy exterior soft interior very nice👌🏼 -Iced Ocha/Green Tea⭐⭐⭐ it was so-so, couldn't really taste the tea -Matcha Shake⭐⭐:( was kinda disappointed with this, i thought it was gonna be the consistency of a milkshake, but it was runny and taste just sweet, no hint of green tea except for the colour,...

I had driven past this place many times but finally today I was driving past whilst hungry so decided to stop in, and am glad I did. Service was swift and pleasant, but it felt very cosy and the atmosphere was spot on. We had curry cheese takoyaki which were delicious, if maybe a little too cheesy and not enough curry flavour for me. And unfortunately one of mine had a bit of something like beak in it, but it hardly took away from the joy of eating them. We also had a salmon, tuna and teriyaki prawn rice roll which had a lot of flavour and texture at the same time. Highly recommend. The gyoza filling was very flavourful but the stand out star for me was the Ishiyaki hot stone noodle bowl. Enak sekali!
